We have spent alot of time and money testing various Chinese helicopters at the HobbyKing office, most with dissapointing results, until now.

Whether your looking to step up from Co-Ax Helicopters or learning to fly from scratch the HobbyKing HK-190 Fixed Pitch 2.4ghz Micro Helicopter is the perfect package. Featuring stable flight characteristics and full 4 channel control this fixed pitch helicopter is a great way to learn to fly more advanced maneuvers than a coaxial helicopter can offer.

The Helicopter comes completely assembled and all you need to do is charge the included battery using the supplied USB cable or via the transmitter and you will be ready to fly in around 15 minutes.

The included 2.4ghz transmitter with digital trims offers interference free flying while the built in gyro ensures stable and level flight. A spare set of blades come with the kit to get you back in the air if you have any bumps.

Just received the heli. Packed nicely and no damage. I charged the battery and went for the maiden flight. This is a rock solid mini. It only took a few clicks of trim to maintain a stable hover. My biggest initial concern was the Tx. I like to fly with my thumb and index finger. The included Tx is comfortable enough to allow this type of control. So far I have not broken anything as a result of object strikes. I have crashed it plenty, but have not had any damage.
The manual vaguely indicates being able to switch rates with the left stich on the Tx. I have not been able to access this feature to date. I tried holding the throttle stick to the left according to the instructions ,no really difference.

Im flying this thing in my office. IT'S INCREDIBLE!!! It's really nice. I've never flew a heli and this is so easy to fly, I've ordered an extra batt and continue flying while the other battery is charging in my desk PC. Very good performance outdoors in low wind conditions. I'm so happy with my new incredible cheap toy.

Great little copter! Bought it in early Jan. with some extra batteries and parts. It arrived in good shape with no damage. I charged the battery and flew it within minutes. It required very little trim, although the body/frame leans to the right a bit, it flies straight and true. It is now May and I have experienced many crashes indoors and outdoors and only recently had to change the blades. It is a tough little copter, but don't fly it outside unless there are no breezes (remember, it only weighs an ounce/24grams). This was bought as a step to allow me to progress from a coaxial to a fixed pitch to a collective copter. It has performed in a most excellent manner!

Controller was dead. Decided to RMA it. That was two weeks ago and still haven't heard from HK. Hindsight being 20/20 I should have just ordered another one and used the dead heli for spare parts. Oh well live and learn

Hallo,

Flugzeit maximal 7 - 8 Minuten.

This little heli has surprised me because it flies really well, even if it is very cheap. The controller is not great, but it works fine, even if the rudder control isn't too precise. It's stability is great, my coworker has never tried helis before (but he flies planes) and he hovered right away with this
little FP. Forward flight is OK, but if one clips of 0,5-1 cm of the rotor tips, performance is quite a bit more spirited, at least with 160 mAh turnigy lipo.
It is quite tough, but order a few extra rotor blades, those are the parts that break.

Have fun

I wouldn't recommend this. I brought this a while ago, got it out the box, all fine. Until I came to actually fly it (in doors). The tail rotor didn't work. So I contacted HK support team and they were very helpful, they told me to send it back to them. So I did.

This might not happen to anyone else but this was my experience.

Great little heli, especially outdoors on a still day. At the same price however I reckon the FP100 has the edge. (Why has it been taken off the site in the last day or two???) It's a better design with proper servos and the tail doesn't blow out as it has a longer boom. It's also more responsive and flies where you point it.....the HK190 on the other hand is a little floaty and can be a handlful...... watch those nose dives during full speed forward flight.

Either of these machines however, at around 30 bucks is a bargain.

PS: the HK136 transmitter is the same as this ones so you can use one for both.

Saludos y buenos vuelos!
