    HobbyKing’s new Midnight Drone is a sleek new look and compact size, packed with all the features and style. 

    The Midnight is a 200mm Quad-copter with a unique shape that helps with orientation and strength.  The sleek arm have a spread mount adding to stiffness and helping not to getting snagged on those low hanging branches. There is an 8 thimble crash locked vibration dampening system with a nice sized lower equipment bay. The frame uses a triple layer PDB, with your choice of included 4 led colors: red, blue, white and green. The frame is a combination of varying thickness G10 composite for a light and ridged design. The Narrow 200mm wheelbase is perfect for 5inch props and the “H” configuration gives a nice FPV forward looking low hung view. The Midnight is unique and practical in design and the quality and durability makes this an awesome FPV cruiser.

    I really like the look of this frame. It is designed well but as far as performance, you lose a lot of thrust. So much infact that just to get off the ground i had to be at almost 75pcnt throttle using baby beasts and 5030 props. If you extend the arms, im sure you can get better performance out of this thing.

    I can not recommend this frame. It is much too heavy weight for such a small one and its weak and thick. I would not buy this again.

    Just got this in Canada and not sure how to rate it yet as only the frame is built with nothing on it. First off know there are no instruction, just a picture. My main concern after seeing it, is the amount of obstruction for the props. I would think you would lose lots of lift with this design and you can not go bigger then 5 inch. These are my first impressions and will post again when it gets in the air.
