This is a fun plane. It is extremely durable, and flies very predictably. The plastic screws that hold the wing on tend to pull their nuts out, I have solved this problem in two ways, on one plane by applying tape to supplement, and on my other Pilatus by just gluing the wing on. The plane is a little underpowered, but I put a bigger 2-bade prop on with a prop saver, and it is great. We have really enjoyed flying "Percy."

My 1st plane was a glider and I learnt how to fly for less than a month. After that I bought a Cessna from HB and I improved my flying skills with it. Later I bougth this Pilatus from HB. This is my third month of flying rc plane, I'm flying a low wing now and I just love this Pilatus although it is a little harder to control since it is a low wing. The only problem with this plane is that the power is a little weak so I changed a bit bigger kv motor into it and its just perfect for me.Maybe after this I'll get myself an EDF jet....

Sucks! ,
the built sucks , I receieved it with one defective servo.
then the canopy axis went wrong and broke , so I put some magnets on instead.
and at last when I was trying to get the wing attached and found the nut , on the wing while the body is disconnected to the wing.
one FAIL!!!

Just purchased one of these, arrived earlier today, Arrived in the usual hobbyking manner, packed in a cardboard box, each piece was individually bagged, arrived safe and sound with no damage. General quality looks to be good, Box arrived well packed with large bubble wrap for added protection.
Haven't assembled or flew it yet, will do so in the next few days.
No instructions in box but a copy can be downloaded from the files tab above.
Overall nice model

I bought this PC-9 around 20th of Sep. 2012. It's easy to set up, but there are many places that you need to strengthen before the maiden flight. I use 11.1V 1300mA 20C battery. The thrust of this plane is pretty anemic, 50pcnt throttle is not enough to make a safe turn and it has a tendency to fly lower and lower if all control surfaces are set to neutral. Good point is that it's also pretty forgiving, when it begins to stall, the head goes down first, and wing rolls to one side, so you can feel the shaky of this plane and gradually increase power to get out of it :-) overall, nice plane, but as many Art-Tech airplanes, it's anemic. This PC-9 also has a unique flight character, much different handling feeling than most of airplanes I flied (I flied E-flight UMX Mig, T-28, Art-tech wing dragon, Pitts Special, HK Edge540 800mm and Solo1500) It doesn't require high skill to fly this PC-9, but must keep in mind that it stalls in banking even sometimes even throttle at 50pcnt.......

beautiful plane, hasnt flown yet but arrived well packaged and assembled easily. had to glue in the cockpit magnet and hinge as it came off on first opening. Question... How do you access the motor as i have an upgraded one and would like to install it before maiden but cant access the original without cutting it open

I've always liked the look of this one so I bought one as my first plane. Great plane out of the box, little assembly required and looked smick! My instructor handlaunched it and found it didn't have enough power. I finally got a replacement prop and off I went. It's super maneurverable and I maneuvered it into the ground on it's maiden flight. Some epoxy and off we went with a bent nose. I also dented the motor shaft so that was that.

I added a Turnigy DST-1200 Bell Motor and it hooked along! The bad news is a flew it on an overcast day and as someone else mentioned the colour scheme is not the most visible - so I destroyed it in a crash. It's a great plane and I'll get a another one soon.
