Installed this in a Parkzone Wildcat, speaker accidently faced to tail and not downwards. Made additional hole behind wing. Extra channel on Taranis, Start/Stop-Sounds on switch, idle and throttle on stick, for not to have Engine Ignition/CutOff-sounds on ususal flying. Scary moment when the Wildcat sailed in for landing and I listened the "motor" running, before I realised, that this is the Sound-module! :-D So more than funny, nearly useful, but only on calm days, cause wind will blow everything from the little speaker away. Hearable noise and distortion, but doesnt matter on the field.

Did buy this from HK and tested it on P-51 gunfighter (HK/starmax version).
The speaker is under the fuselage. It works well on the ground and when taxiing.
The strat and stop sounds are loud but the rpm noise for the flight is lower than expected. in consequence with the prop and the engine, everything is mixed and you barely hear the sound module. More over the wiring diagram provided is wrong.Tested 4s and 3S and sound is about the same level.

I eagerly awaited the arrival of this product in the UK warehouse and as soon as it was in stock I ordered one which duly arrived with the normal HK efficiency. I quickly unpacked the sound system which appears well presented and good quality but the instructions were very brief and poorly translated. Having said that I managed to connect it up without any problems. The 'Start up' sequence is very loud and quite realistic the actual engine noise is quieter but ok and the note alters with the throttle setting giving a nice 'drone' but the disappointing part to me is that on closing the throttle it goes into the 'start up' routine again?? There must be a way of stopping this but it eludes me a at the moment and the instructions have no mention of this? If any one knows how to get round this please let me know meanwhile I will have a go myself and post any findings.

I received my HK 'Sound Module System' today in good order/condition. In a nut shell it is a great product and the sound is terrific, especially on start up. The setup instructions however are pretty useless but if you use the diagram on the second page you will have a much better idea. I am looking forward to trying this tool out in the new twin Messerschmidt that I ordered. Thanks HK!

No me gust nada
