maidened the power f3p today and it flew ok but it needed more right thrust and more elevator travel and the elev pushrod was flexing bad. anyways i fixed the elevator p-rod then chopped a small section of the elevator out for more rudder travel and added a bit of right thrust. I LOVE THIS PLANE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much! it flys so good and so slow! i was tourque rolling on the second flight. im on like flight 4 or 5 now and it rolling harriers very nicely. it does every thing very well except high speed stuff like pop tops and stuff but thats normal for a foamy. it dosent do rolling loops well either. it dosent have the surface throw to pull out of them and i about totaled it on the first loop! other than that stuff i love this plane so much and i highly recomend it!

flys well with rates dialed down a bit... very very brittle epo foam used in wing and tail feathers... don't crash.... does not like wind at all.... better off to buy a full epp foam plane....

Build instructions are mostly good and accurate. The holes in the aileron and elevator horns are too big for the supplied 'z' bend pushrod wires, so I replaced the wire with some bent from a paper clip for a nice slop free fit. To get the Cof G back to the recommended 80mm from wing leading edge I had to mount the battery above the wing (on the fuselage bracing strip) and pretty much at the Cof G. - It is just a bit too congested with cf bracing strips and pushrods to fit it below the wing at this point. Also had to trim the inside edges of the elevators to get full throws on the rudder.
Mine came out at 155g with 500mAh 2s Lipo and 5g servos fitted. Flies very nicely and the epp fuselage should make it last well in the rough and tumble of our indoor flying sessions!

This plane came in an oversized box. The box was completely squashed and damaged but inside there was so much air cell protective packaging that the box for the plane inside the oversized box was not damaged at all. Worth paying a little more for delivery. Plane is pretty easy to build. Haven't flown it yet. Recommend to people interested in f3p who enjoy building kits. All the materials in the kit a great especially for the price.

This plane is my first kit build. I am new to 3D flying and thought this would be a cheap way to learn, so if I destroy it, I didnt invest too much. The instructions are well written, just make sure you pay attention to them and not just the pictures as some of them do not seem to match up. The instructions say to use scotch tape, but I found scotch tape and even packing tape do not hold. I used extreme packing tape it seemed to hold up well, though it may have added weight. The provided velcro also did not hold well to the foam, so I added a little glue to it and that did the trick. Overall, I am happy with this plane, but it's definitely not unbreakable. Just make sure you keep your CA handy!

If you wanted to buy a TechOne T2004 brushless outrunner for your own Skokie from a uk model shop, it would cost you more than this kit combo inc post and packing from HobbyKing Uk.

You get the Epp/depron frame, carbon strips and fitting for free. A real bargain

Haven't built it yet but it will no doubt be a good flyer as it weighs in at bet 130 & 140 all up inc 2s lipo.

Great value but be prepared to replace or support control rods as they are too thin and flex under full throw.
Flies nicely and a good motor.
