For the money this is a great deal on a larger quad frame. My only complaint is the following: the landing gear is extremely weak - expect stock gear to break with anything other than a straight down landing. I'm currently re-building my gear for better performance. I'm using a Ready to Fly Quads Flip 1.5 board and control seems very good so far. For the price it's a great deal - if it breaks beyond repair I'll certainly buy it again.

This 680 frame goes together like a perfectly cut puzzle. I will have to modify slightly to accomidate my choice of motors. All in all a great light weight frame. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to build an inexpensive and large quad.

I have built this frame as well as the 539mm frame. Both go together very well and look great once they are together.

This thing is crooked like a banana. you might have to shimmy shimmy yoo shimmy yeaaah the motors and also you have to stabilise the "landing gear" a bit because they break REALLY easily. But for the money it's really ok..

... forgot to mention that it seems strange to me to work on a quad with white glue.
Just an excuse to publish a video :

Nice frame, which permits a lot of adds on for FPV etc.
Easy to repair too :)
The frame is not really square, but it is easy to level motors with washers.
I use NTM 28-26A.
Without FPV it was 1050g. Flying great with 3S lipo and 9x4.7
Now with FPV equipment it is 1480g and flies well with 10x4.5
Don't use SuperBrain ESCs ! It is the worst choice. Use high speed ESCs instead (SimonK firmware).

Excellent frame. Good quality all holes line up precisely. I assembled mine with pva which is more than adequate for plywood. I will upload some photos of the assembly process. Good work hobbyking.

Ordered this a week or so ago. It arrived in a well sized bag. A few components required a bit of a clean up but in my experience this is nearly always the case with CNC cut ply.

Took about 15 minutes to assemble the 4 arms even though no instructions are supplied. The design is simple but well thought out, and the parts look just big enough to do the job without adding unnecessary weight.

Another great product.
