The HobbyKing Safe 40A Parallel Charge Board allows you to charge four battery packs simultaneously, drastically reducing charge time! The battery packs being charged in parallel need to have the same cell count and be in a similar state of discharge (within 0.2V).

That means you can charge four 3S 2200mAh or more at the same time with a standard charger!

A unique feature of this board is the ability to "daisy chain" it with others. There is a set of 4mm bullet jacks on the end and a balance plug connection allowing you to connect another parallel board to it. This means you can connect multiple boards together with different plug types to charge all of your same cell count batteries simultaneously!

The Safe 40A parallel charge board features replaceable automotive style fuses to protect each circuit, this will insure safe charging at up to 40A.

Specs:
Cell: 2~6S
Voltage: 0~22.2VDC
Max current: 40A
Battery: 4 packs (same discharge state & cell count)
Connector: XT60

Works as advertised. Good build quality. Essential kit. Recommended.
The board is heavily fused so this gives some reassurance you won't blow up your batteries when something should go wrong (like mismatched or defective batteries).
About parallel charging; charges multiple batteries of the same type (S count, and preferably also brand/model so internal resistance will match) together at the same time. Connect op to 4 batteries (of the same type) to the board and charge them at once as one big battery. Mind the capacity of your charger. For example, 4x 3S, 2200 mAh batteries (C=2.2) charge at 4*2.2=8.8 Amps when charging at 1C (recommended by most manufacturers). This requires up to 8.8*12.5V=110W of power of your charger (most chargers tune down the amps when nearing full capacity at 12.6V (using 3S batteries in this example).

It works as described and quite cheap!
Good: all connections are secured with fuses, main leads using 40A car breakers and balance leads using re-settable pico fuses (all 6 pins, additional fuses on the back side of the board). There is a 50A main input fuse for additional protection. You can daisy chain the boards.
Bad: It can take 40A but all the leads/board heat up quite a bit. Main leads are on the border line for 40A currents. The soldering is mediocre. Main 50A fuse is soldered, so a hassle if you have to replace it.

Charging my batteries is a lot quicker now :-).

I was a little sceptic at first but it works fine.
Use it mainly to charge 3 1000mah 3s Lipos and sometimes a 350 mah in addittion.
Using Batteries of different capacities worked fine so far for me. I always checked that the have the same Cell and are on the same voltage level.

The Red light on the board gets on as soon as you plug in a battery ( so that seems to be normal).

It took me some time to realize which balancer goes to which charging board... (it doesnt matter which because they are all parallel :-)).

It makes charging my three batteries a lot quicker :-)

I received, unless I misunderstand something, a faulty item. When plugging it in a charger and connecting a battery a red LED (on the board) lights up, and the charger complains about a balancing error. This happens with both a 2S and a 3S battery.
The charger works fine with the normal parallel charge board.

Nice little board, makes charging a breeze. Fuses are a plus and easily accessible.

I was pleasantly surprised by this parallel charging board. The build quality looks and feels solid all around. I have only put 20 amps through it so far but it's functioned flawlessly each time. Love the resistors there to keep current in check when you first plug in your batteries.

Very pleased with this purchase and will be buying more come my next international warehouse order.
