Windsock is well made and low price but a very useful metal framework is missing on the first red ring
it really would help windsock to catch the wind more easily and particularly at poor speed wind flows avoiding to hang straight down along the pole .
Framework required would be provided as a separately marketed kit.
Manche a vent est bien faite et pas chère mais il lui manque une structure métallique supportant son premier anneau/bande rouge qui l’aiderait à prendre plus facilement les faibles flux de vent et l’empêcherait aussi par manque de vent de pendre le long de son mât.
Cette structure serait commercialisée séparément sous forme de kitWe have had windsocks for years at the local club - none last that long and it was always a hassle getting it out and securing it every time. Now with these we just buy a dozen at a time and leave it out full time - yes it tears apart every few months (actually we seem to get almost a year out of them and it is only around the ring that the fabric tears) then we simply replace as at this price its not going to break the bank. Was a lot dearer to get one made than to buy a dozen of these so well done hobbyking.PRODUTO EXCELENTE PELO PREÇO, SÓ NÃO PODE SER DEIXADO EXPOSTO AO TEMPO, AQUI NO BRASIL CUSTA R$ 50,00 MAIS O FRETE, COMPRANDO POR AQUI ME CUSTOU R$ 26,00 ENTREGUE NO BRASIL.
RECOMENDOAfter purchasing quite a few of these windsocks over the years for our Radio Yachting club, I/we find that like others, they do not like our Australian sun &/or conditions.
They tend to wear out, fade badly & shred in about 5 to 7 Months.
In other words, they do not last all that long when left out in "The Weather."
Our Southern Australian sun must contain more UV than what they get in the North. :)
Excellent in my garden, in good materials.Mine lasted 6mths in the Australian sun ,wind ,and rain . Lets Hope the New Stoke
