Awesome little power package very very happy with it. It has tons and tons of power. Installed mine in a 1/10 buggy and it outperforms the Nitro hands down super happy with my purchase would definitely buy again. I would recommend this system 2ne1

Just put this unit in my old Rustler. Very easy install, very easy to program. Stock gearing. I have run it on a 6 cell NiMH and a 7 cell NiMH. Very smooth acceleration but not as fast as I expected out of the box. I have just programmed the esc for 3.2v cut off and am charging a 3s lipo. With both NiMH batteries there was zero heat on the motor even after running it hard for the battery duration. I think that the gearing may need adjustment for speed when using NiMH, but it may be perfect for a 3s lipoly. Very pleased with this unit.

This setup is a very goof value for the money. I use it in a 1/10 scale monster truck and whoaa - it runs extremely well and fast. Because of the sensor there is no stuttering an low speeds. Be sure to read the manual carefully because in sensor mode it is very important to use correct polarity on the motor wires.

Replace Strada XB EVO 1:10 Buggy BER and brushed motor fed by Turnigy 4000mAh 2S 30C LiPo and works perfectly. Prior change the brushed motor heats 100C and even more. Now I am experiencing maximum 40C with more power.

Works as it should on my Tamiya TT01 as wannabee drifter, on a 2S 5300mAh - runs at least 4 times a month since nearly a year now.
Initialisation at powering-up and reverse are sometimes erratic, but this could be due to my old analogic transmitter... Hit the overheat protection once, but was running on a sun-heated 52C carpet which was extremely grippy - my other colleagues didn't have those problems with their more high-end equipment.

Good on 2s lipo use this in my drift car nice and smooth only problem the motor can only be run on 2s lipo it dose not say on the web site but says in the manual have run on 3s but only runs for 5 mins then the power cuts to half don't no if that is because the motor not designed for 3s or its the esc overall verry good for the money on 2s

i installed this set on GMADE R1 and run both 2s and 3s. motor and esc work very well only warm even at 100pcnt throttle. ESC very easy to program via program card and it come with full instruction manual.

Swapped out the old brushed system in my losi DT. MUCH better. Used stock main gear but put a 23t pinion on the motor. So far so good, more updates after racing (if it doesn't snow this weekend). The instructions read in fairly fluent chinglish, and are pretty understandable. I didn't need to play with the programming card as the esc defaults seem fine - again, after tweeking will update further. The motor leads could be a bit longer, but hey, its not a hobby unless you can solder bullet plugs and make extension wires. For under 70 bucks am quite happy with this.

Ive bought this to use with my Tamiya TB-01. The combo works great, cold and fast.
Recently Id swapped chassis, and installed the combo in my new Tamiya XV-01 PRO kit. The wiring, both sensor and A-B-C wires supplied with this combo are about 100mm in lenght which is about half the lenght needed for my new Tamiya kit.
If you are planning to run the same system, I recommend you to check out the wiring page at HK and get a 14AWG wiring/connectors and also the 200mm brushless sensor cable.
