Having left the hobby for 20 years I was looking for something to get the old thumbs back up and working. This model has yet to disappoint me. Went together like a dream,waited for the first calm day and off she went. Kept the CG close to where the plan recommended but just a big enough change to make her slightly nose heavy. The size of the elevators ensure you dont have a problem. Longer grass can be a problem for the nosewheel but you can always remove the leg and use slightly bigger one. That worked a treat. Yes I have bounced her a few times and as long as your landing isnt too fast she will take pretty much anything. Thanks Hobby King I am now back in the air and enjoying myself again.

HobbyKing claims "fully functional slow flaps" but it is not true, the servo speed regulator is not included like in the Art-Tech version !

Good quality, a lot of parts are assembled, spare propeller (size 10x8), bad news is that propeller cup is plastic and tail LED is only dummy also wing support could be better quality - easy to crack during assembling. You need to correct also flaps hinges, without this flaps can fall off. Float set is little heavy but I believe it will not have big influence on flying abilities. Summarizing, for a China plain its a grate quality.

I love my Cessna 182 and it is a joy to fly but I can give it only 3 stars because HK are not carrying spare parts which I know are available from the manufacturer Art-Tech. The cowl is very flimsy and the smallest nose over results in broken prop and cracked cowl. I have had to tape it all up a couple of times and am now making my own fibreglass cowl. Come on HobbyKing get with it and include parts for this model.

Excellent plane!
Perfect for beginners because of the wide wingspan.
This model so easy and fun to fly you can't get wrong with this plane!
Even the experts here in Israel surprised how good this model is well built,fun and easy to fly.

Great plane, strong wings but the back landing gear gets a bit lose if taking of on grass and the nose wheel gets lose and needs to be tightened. The cowling is a very, very weak plastic. I would recommend to put some silicone in it to strengthen it. The lights are very cool and everything else is great!!!! Great trainer plane!!!!

Great plane, stunning looks and flies like on rails. Surprisingly as mine weights just over 1,5 kg with all the extra wiring (see below)
With flaps I could not believe how slow and stable this plane flies. More than enough power with standard motor esc, I'm using 2200 3s batteries for 10 minutes flight time. Normal cruise speed at 1/3 throttle!
Mods include removing slop from wheels, slop from controls, re-wired and made scale lighting including 3 watt Lumiled landing light, reinforced the inside cowl with layer of fiberglass and increased the front access hatch size.
Only minus is the ESC L.V.C. won't cut in until 8.5V, too low for safe battery operation.
