If you or your local club are looking for an affordable, reliable and tough trainer then the Club Trainer is just the ticket!

Designed to fly like a traditional nitro trainer, our electric Club Trainer is bound to please instructors and student pilots alike. Constructed entirely of crash resistant EPO foam and reinforced in all the areas that get stressed in rough 'arrivals', which are all part of the learning process. Our Club Trainer will fly all day long and keep asking for more!

Featuring a strong wing retained by elastic bands, a strong tricycle undercarriage (with sprung, steerable nose gear) and an externally accessible battery hatch - it also has contrasting top and bottom color schemes that will assist new pilots with their orientation at a distance.

To top it off the model is supplied as 'Ready To Fly' meaning it comes as a complete package with a 4 channel 2.4 Ghz Radio System, motor, Battery and charger.

Building is simply a matter of joining the wing halves, fitting the tail and landing gear in place and you are done - everything else is supplied pre-installed for you.

Bought this aircraft to teach teenagers to fly (I work at a school). It flew beautifully after minimal setup, quite aerobatic (almost hovers with a big prop) and flies smoothly like it is on rails. As kids do though, they crashed the plane many times (completely destroyed it at least 5 times so far). After many, many crashes, daily abuse and mistreatment, this plane has never faltered. The fuselage is mostly glue now - the front half has been patched with coreflute, yet it still flies like it is on rails. We replaced the wing once after it was flown into a gum tree at full throttle (the wing broke into three pieces and the ailerons were torn off - couldn't get the balance quite right again). Another time it was dropped from 300 feet onto concrete and smashed into about eight pieces, we glued it back together and had it flying perfectly again the next day!
I can't praise this plane enough, we have had ours for 8 months and it is literally flown every weekday by kids who treat it like garbage and it has never disappointed. Our student land it really hard on grass and concrete (like an elephant sitting on a cane chair) and it has never broken from this. A beautifully flying, very tough, easy to repair aircraft that will satisfy beginners and intermediate pilots. A
I will note though, we use shock cord to hold the wing on as the supplied rubber bands broke during it's maiden fli
