The Nakajima Ki-84 "Hayate" was a single-seat fighter used by the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force in World War II. The Allied reporting name was "Frank". The Japanese Army designation was Army Type 4 Fighter featuring excellent performance and high maneuverability, the Ki-84 was considered to be the best Japanese fighter to see large scale operations during World War II. It was able to match any Allied fighter, and to intercept the high-flying B-29 Super Fortresses. Its powerful armament (that could include two 30 mm and two 20 mm cannon) increased its lethality.
This beautiful scale Ki-84 Hayate comes in a realistic finish and a nicely shaped, true-scale outline that looks just like the real thing! Featuring a built-up wing/tail section and factory covered with highly detailed covering film, this Ki-84 Hayate will be a real looker at your favorite flying site. The Hayate is also a scale warbird of outstanding performance. The dihedral wing design and long tail moment allows excellent stability in the air. This results in very smooth flight characteristics as you would expect from a Ki-84!

Super!Fantastic value plane...went together perfectly and easily. Flew it for forst using smaller motor than recommended, but flew beautifully all the same. Had to compensate some tail heaviness, so added the hobby king sound module into the cowling, just for a laugh. Smashed it up on second flight due to my build error...didnt tighten the retaining screw properly on the elevator horn, flying great then suddenly vertical dive into the ground...bollocks! Ah well...keep the the good bits of the wreckage as spares, as I'm definately having another one! This time with the recommended .25 -size motor.Schnes Flugzeug, stabiles Fahrwerk. Mit dem empfohlenen Motor brauche ich einen 5000er 3s Lipo um den Schwerpunkt zu erreichen. Super Flugbild. Beiliegende Rder sind fr Graspisten zu klein.
