This great size HobbyKing® ™Yak 55 has been designed with 3D flying very much in mind, made from virtually unbreakable EPP Foam, it is ideal for practicing 3D maneouvers over and over, get it wrong? No problem, the Yak 55 will just bounce and even if you do get it horribly wrong, 5 minutes and a bottle of Cyano & Kicker is all it takes to restore your pride and your Yak.
This is a superbly designed, top quality Almost Ready To Fly model that features a proper profile wing and extensive use of carbon fibre rod & CF square tubing for extra stiffness. The control surfaces are large enough for any Hard-core 3D pilot, but just to make double sure you are happy, the model comes with servo horn extensions for maximum throws. Big wheels that can handle almost any flying field & plug in wings secured with rubber bands for easy strip down and transportation add to the list of practical features.
The motor mount is pre-installed and will accept up to a 35mm brushless outrunner, the lipoly mount with pre-installed velcro strap is a perfect size slot for a Turnigy 1800mAh 3s and to do this brilliant model justice, we reccomend digital micro servo's all round. The Hobbyking Yak 55 fly's really well, so well that even if you are not interested in 3D flying, set it up on low rates and it makes a brilliant parkflyer. However you choose to abuse....sorry.....use your Yak, it's a huge amount of fun and at this price .........can you afford NOT to have one!?

Perfect for days when its too windy to risk ya fav' but you wanna fly! This is the BEST VALUE PLANE EVER! My only regret is not buying this much sooner!
The firewall needs reinforcing if your going for advanced 3D and acrobatic flying and adding a solid extra spar in your main wing using a soldering iron to make a channel will improve flight performance alliteratively you could laminate the main wing.
This plane can take you from beginner to expert and will take bad landings and abuse well. I did put bigger landing wheels on which helps in thick grass, i also have my EXPO as 80pcnt and it fly's incredibly well. The only acrobatic manoevour it doesnt do well is the flat spin (rudder could use a little more authority).Great model. good fun, easy to hover. not 100 completely straight however it is epp. the split wing needs to be glued as they fold when doing a blender.cool airplane its from the best 3d that im knowottimo aereo per il 3d, questo il secondo acquisto, il precedentemente l'ho venduto pentendomene, eccezionale per imparare il 3d, !
????????????? ??????? ?? ????? ?????? ????, ????????? ????????? ? ?????????? ?????????? ? ???? ?????????. ????? ???????..Wooden motor mount seemed to be cheap wood or something because it cracked easily as did the undercarriage mounting, easy fix with glue. Flys well. Everyone should have a foam plane to practice withVery beautiful acro model, it flyes like an angelGreat plane, its a shame about the wood used on the motor mount. ive had the motor pull out mid flight before! ive had a few of these now and the 1st upgrade is to hack out the std mount and make one out of REAL wood.
