I race on a big track and have had no problems what so ever.Love this transmitter and receiver set. Great reaction times and e fct that it comes with a Li-Ion battery is great. I disassembled it to build it into a different shape for a motorized longboard, and the solder job inside is very nice. Build quality is normal for a plastic thing, no surprise there. What did surprise me is the tiny ball bearing they added to the steering knob for extra smoothness. I imagine if your use case is a car, you won't have much, if any, binding or wear on the steering knob for a ver long time.
The receiver is very very small, which is appreciated.
This is a good item for a budget car.have purchased many of these remotes they have been great and reliable.
The GT2B is my go to remote when installing third channel for lights or accessoriesGreat radio system. It's light weight and very small. The range is good enough for any track. Also the lipo battery lasts a very long time between charges. The 3rd chanel is kind of lame, it is just an on off with no indicator or adjustment for it. It would work good for lights and that's it.
