Thrust max 300gr.

I tested this EDF with a 1000mAh 25C 3S LiPo and the thrust doesn't exceed 300 gr. The quality is great and also the sound but the thrust is not sufficient.

a great little and powerful edf, i will use it in small foam board aircraft like mini f22 raptor, more than enough power and i dont have to worry about slicing my fingers open in a prop in slot when trying to launch it, which i have done and i could see the tendon running across the top of my fingers, much safer for me and everyone else with an edf.

One word "Insane". An obscene amount of thrust for such a small device. Maxes out at 10.8A with a 1.3mAH 60C Nano A-Spec battery & Afro 20A ESC. Sounds cool too!

I built this in the Katana Jet to replace the stock unit. Easy upgrade. This is a huge difference, this units runs very quietly without vibrations. The unit looks a bit different to the picture, has a black plastic cone, the motor is black, and came with a Dr Mad Trust sticker, while the product number on the package is the same.
My huge problem is that it is pulling only 12-13 Amps measured with a HK power meter with new 3S battery and the stock ESC of the Katana jet. I repeated the test with several good batteries. I don't think this will give enough trust for take off at this moment. I would appreciate any help how to get more power out of it.

you second you open the packaging and handle this unit you know there is lots of quality... well balanced, runs smooth even at a insane 4800..... sounds good.

Bought this for an edf conversion on scratch built. I missed the part that says it has 2mm bullet connectors instead of the larger 3. Makes that woosh noise, and feels like it puts out decent thrust. Felt very balanced and worked well on the test bench. Now to put in in the plane!
