The HobbyKing® C1 Flowmaster Twin Catamaran arrives Almost Ready-to-Run (ARR), needing just a 2-channel surface transmitter and receiver, along with two 3S 11.1V 3000~4000mAh lipoly battery to get it going. The Class 1 offshore racing style hull has been skillfully produced with hand laid fiberglass and then expertly finished with colorful graphics that are then clear coated to a high gloss finish. What sets the C1 Flowmaster Twin Cat apart from other ARR boats is not just the quality of the final finish, but the sharply molded hull lines. This increases precision and tracking, important in the world of boat racing.

Powering the C1 Flowmaster Twin Cat are two 2860 3300kv watercooled inrunner brushless motors mated to fully adjustable, CNC ball bearing supported outdrives. The driveline angle can be adjusted to suit different conditions, whether you want to run wet, or on the ragged edge of nose high. Access your motor and battery through a magnetically secured hatch. A laser cut plywood battery tray also serves as the ESC, receiver, and servo mount. Included in the box is a laser cut plywood display stand, spare propeller, balloon for waterproofing your receiver, and a roll of waterproof hatch tape for double security on that battery hatch.

For performance and good looks at this killer price, the HobbyKing® C1 Flowmaster Twin Cat can't be beat. Rule the waves in style!

Great starter boat! Cannot program esc's. Use metal props. I'm using 40mm 1.4p 3 blades with no issues in stock form.

Terrible quality and customer service. 3 cracks in the hull, missing cowl magnets and mis aligned motors. 2 weeks and hundreds of dollars tied up into something that sinks. Pass and get something that has support.

I installed 2 Turnigy marine 120A speed controllers and it is way better then the stock esc's that have come with this boat. As well as the turnigy do 2858 2900kv brushless motors and it is way better on running 4s batteries with the new esc, motor, and prop combo I'm running

This mini-cat is more powerful that I thought. perfect control at 78 km/h. check the bolts and the water cooling jacket O/Rs, because sometimes leak some water inside.
I'm really satisfied from this items.
I also change the propellers with this

and this

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=61593

These propellers has a little point of pitch more then the original.
The results it's high speed and great stability with with the transmission at 0 of angle. If you go in negative the boat takes the nose really high especially in tradition speed(before planning).
Great purchase...i'm really satisfied

This is one fast boat but should have had metal props because yesterday was the first time taking it out and I lost two out of three blades on the port side prop so I'm kinda mad because now I have to find a counter rotating props but it seams really hard to find anything in 3 blade

Beautiful thing, very well packaged. From EU warehouse for $8 shipping.

The ESC is jumpy. No soft start. No programming manual. The "turnigy marine 60A" programming manual is not the correct one, this esc is different.

The rudder servo is mounted badly. Check the manual and change the servo arm length to shortest hole, not longest. Servo is strong, i guess digital.

Motors are 1A very good. Totally vibration free. Never seen such well balanced motors before.

The flex drive is mounted badly! There is a 1mm asymmetry in BOTH the holes where the shaft leaves the hull. This puts unnecessary strain on the flexdrive, makes it harder to turn, and heats it up. Please HK use the correct spacings for drilling the holes ! This flaw is not easy to correct because the shaft is glued in!
