A waste of money, I've tried to use it on my servo, and it shakes too much, more than an analog servo. Not recommended at all

Well, I Really like these servos so far. I took an offer some days ago and purchased 4 of them for $4.95 each to replace mt TGY-90 cyclic combo, since one of them failed and I had a chrash. They seam to be smoother and a bit faster than those analog servos. They are a much more symetric crew too. I used to make some travel adjusts to eache channel with the analog servos. But not with these ones so far.

Work well, have not had any bad ones yet out of over 12 of them. For the price they do the job very well.

Installed 3 of these servos on a HK450 heli. Due to a crash the gear 2 of the servos has stripped. Opened the servo and it's not all metal gear. There's one plastic gear and that gear has stripped.
Also to much play in the gears.
For this price HK has better servos. Won't buy them again.

got 5 for my stinger 64. they are great little servos that are smooth and center great. I have been flying on them for a year now and have not had a issue. No nose at all like my other digital servos. Would buy more and even replace some other servos, just wish they were cheaper but still a great deal at 7.08.

Had two of these laying around waiting to be installed on my FPV wing (Skywalker X5).
I bought them as the older (analog, also 12.5g) servos had annoying jitter, probably due to VTX EMI, and I heard that digital servos are more immune to EMI.

To make a long story short - I replaced servos to these last week. They perform MUCH better - no jitter whatsoever, haven't even put ferrite beads on them. And that's with a 800mW VTX on board.

I'm impressed. ordering a few more for my next project.

Difficult to rate these servos :
- the mechanism itself is good with precision, speed and torque ok for normal(not 3D) flying on a trex 250
- little noisy but unnoticeable while airborne
- the plastic of the case is so weak that even the slightest shear effort will result in instant break of the mounts, i've seen biscuit stronger than this servo ...

Mr Hobbyking what the use of a correct mechanism, metal gears and all the rest if all this is mounted in a so weak case ?
Ok they are cheap but i surely won't trust these on FBL helis, where huge loads can be put on servos/servos mounts.

This review is applicable to both DS929/939MG which have the same crappy case and for both HK/Corona brands as the only difference between the two brands is only the price (i own several 929/939 of the two brands)

Cheap servo. I figured they would be a little better. Center ok, but lots of slop. Putting in F 4 Phantom EDF. They also heat up with very little force put on them. We will see how it goes. Hopefully they will hold up and not fail and ruin my plane.
