A great looking and handy sized semi-scale model of the renowned Sbach 342 aerobatic plane that neatly falls between profile all foam models and fully built-up balsa 3D models and a fabulous model to dip a toe into the world of 3D flying.

The model features an EPP skin over a plywood and carbon fiber built-up structure making it super-light, strong and flexible where needed to shrug off the minor knocks of everyday flying, while retaining scale looks with its fully sectioned cowling, curved canopy, symmetrical air-foil and smooth lines.

The Sbach 342 has huge control surfaces, which combined with the ultra-light airframe allows for anything from lively sport flying to all-out 3D flying, with prop hanging, spins, tumbles and harriers all within the models capability.

A good quality hardware pack is included, with all of the required parts to complete the airframe ready for your choice of servos, receiver, ESC and motor.

The HobbyKing™ Sbach 342 is a quick to build one piece model with good access to the motor, battery and radio gear so that it can be ready to fly at a moment’s notice whenever the opportunity arises!

• Fully built-up EPP/light plywood constructed fuselage

Another Great Foamy

Aug 14, 2017

After assembling the mini Edge 540, I had to add the mini Sbach to my hanger
The quality of these hybrid models seems to be improving all the time. Fitted mine with an NTM 1000kv, 3S Lipo with a 10x8 prop, Turnigy metal 9gram servos. I also like to add hinge tape on all the hinged surfaces for added durability.A real strong little model with carbon fibre and ply reinforcing throughout which really stiffens the airframe
Maiden seemed a little tail heavy even at the stated CG marked on the wing but so much fun! This little guy just floats and will just 'mush' when stalled. Definitely underpowered so will experiment with power/prop options
Great value for the sale price, paint is a little average but easy to go over at a later date
Worth 5 stars

Mein Setup:
Dualsky ECO 2216C Brushless Motor 1250KV
30A BlueSeries ESC

Put a DST 1000 with GWS 1170 on 30 a esc and 3s 2200mah. This plane fly great and do most 3d maneuver. However EPP foam doesn't mean it is crashed proof.
