This small and lightweight UBEC features a high efficiency switching mode BEC, providing better heat dissipation when compared to linear voltage regulation. The shielded PCB design and output EMF coil provide a stable, low noise voltage output. The HKU5 also features built-in reverse polarity protection.

ho acquistato più volte questi bec e mi sono trovato sempre bene, leggeri piccoli e occupano pochissimo spazio, inoltre non mi hanno mai tradito in volo e sono risultati affidabili, pratici ed economiciHavent had any problems so far, everything has been going great!I am very pleased with this BEC. Thank again HobbyKing.DO NOT USE IN COLD! Bought six UBECS and worked fine in warmer temps. Able to fly for 6-10 minutes in 35-40*F weather (started with a 65-70*F plane and equipment), then plugged in a new battery and UBEC browned out- twitching servos and resetting receiver. Definitely the UBEC's issue; it will not supply enough current until it's warmed up. Tried starting with 55-60*F plane and equipment, but when I plugged in the battery, it browned out right away. Can unplug two of the four servos to get initialized and then plug them in later. NOT happy with the temperature range! Bought to stop brown out problems with escs. No temperature specs or manual given by HobbyKing. :( HobbyKing update the specs! West Coast customer has similar review.very good for the price, if it have enough air flow and didn't get hot it can supply 5v/5a with no problems. recommendedI have tested the BEC with different loads
Under 2 A it works well, the voltage is 5.2V.
With a curent load over 2A he no longer worksDer BEC ist bis etwas ber 2 A geeignet. Wird er mit 2.5 A belastet schaltet er ab.
Fr Belastungen ber 2 A nicht geeignet !When installed in my Vampires I've noticed that it does not
I have make a testing with new LIPOs 3S/2200mA and 4S/2800mA. With a curent load over 2A he no longer works, bat the UBEC is designet for 5A?
good ubec, no problems. hooked up a 3s lipo to it to run a gps module in my fpv plane and there's no heat coming from it.nice power source for many things on the field
