I have bought 15 of this servo. I use them in all my touring cars, and have sold it to most of my friends in the local club. 2 has failed, one did not work and one failed after short time use. I still use my oldest ones, they have now been in use for over 2 years. Only remember to adjust the endpoints, if not adjusted, the servo will be not work very long. If correctly adjusted, you have the servo for a loooooong time :-)

Have build in KDS600FBL on Swashplate in late Spring 2013. Fly with Microbeast @ 7,4V and TDT Head. Over Summer the Heli has done above 40 Flights Slow 3D. Servo is fast, strong and smove.
By powering up the Heli before Flight, i hear the Nickservo scratch. At home i find the Gear has lost the top of the tooth over the quater round. Fond the same Picture in Rollservo. The Gear is to weak for the Power of this Servo.
Please HK, give these fine Servo a better Gear for 5 or 10 Buks more!

They seam to have enough power and speed , not sure how tough they are as I was landing my 50cc the were in and landing gear collapsed , bit of a weak design and when i checked the aileron servos the gears were sticking then i tested to see how they handled some resistance and they sheared the gears quite easily , the elevator and rudder ok but time will tell I guess to see if they last .3 Star just cause Im not sure at the moment and they are not that cheap compared to the 958

Testing them on the swash of a X7, with a 47902 on the tail.
Using a servo tester, speed was slower as specs, power ok.
Accuracy fair-good, not as good as some other servos (Futaba, servox) i have used.

These servos seem to be really powerhungry. Some of the erratic behaviour of these MI servos reported elsewhere might be related to that fact. When hooking up just one servo to a std HBEC at 6v, the BEC was sometimes exhausted by just powering up, causing erratic behaviour. With a WR Super BEC or Quasar no problems.

I have noticed a slight tremble, especially on the tail. Running the tail at 250mhz.

servo resolusion good

servo speed good

but,,,

servo horn > weig down (by hand) -> servo horn (>Vibration(tremble.)),,,maybe Semiconductor chips > Cheap

other expensive servo-> Not vibration(tremble)...

I am using them on a Flybarless Trex700e cyclic, so far they are excellent. Fast, Accurate and Strong, The casing has been updated since this photo, they now have the same case as PRODUCT ID: 019000001 which is actually bettter.
