Works but not for big folding probs

May 28, 2021

Used as quick sparepart for 6s/160A(2sec)/18x21RFM/7degree. Ist solved 3 flights w. summary 150 punches. But the brake is too soft to stopp prob. Now a Mystery200A has arrived (4 brake levels). Miles better for F5b prop-brake. I will use the SS-200A for any of my Prop-Plane as a sparepart:

Not good for Inrunner w Gearbox!

May 08, 2021

Tested w. V-Max EVO, Polytec 600-33-6,1:1, 5S, 18x21S. Start-Acceleration is smooth. Fullthrottle 2 sec. at 30 times per flight, it get warm only. But brake is usless. Foldingprop don't Stop. Don't use w. F5b-like Setups. F3S will be, i think.

Good size for a 200A ESC. Works as it should with no issues. Runs reasonably cool when pulling over 150A. Remember no BEC, so you have to have a separate battery for the receiver.

So far so good.

As the other reviews state the heat shrink encases the heat block cooling fins completely. So just razor knife some slots to allow air to flow through. Not sure it could handle 200a ever as the esc and wires get pretty warm at 100A in just a 30 second constant run. We will see how it goes as I am just finishing up the plane it is going to be used in. But plug and play as it should be thus far.

High amps at low cost

Mar 19, 2021

This Esc is thick and heavy because it has a big heatsink. I did cut out the backside area of the heatshrink to increase the airflow of the heatsink cooling ribs. I am not sure if this ESC can handle 200A but in my combination with 6S and 110A Peak current it worked out of the box. There comes no manual with it so you have to download it in the file link. therefore 4 stars instead of 5. Price is very cheap, but you have to buy all connectors you need seperateley.
