Looks very nicely made. Will put it an easystar. 5,5x4,5 apc electric prop. I hope for some nice climb rates.

After having read the reviews of this motor, i bought this motor with the 6x4 prop as recommended by other users. have been using it since april 10 on my easy star. it breathes new life into the foamie. I very strongly recommend this combo for anyone with an ez*. use it with a 2200 or 2600mah 3 cell lipo.

Outstanding motor. A perfect fit for MPX EasyStar!

Just started RC-ing six months ago, this was the first motor I bought, for my first plane, a Multiplex EasyStar. I was advised to use this motor instead of the stock brushed motor that came with the kit. Was this a great advice or what!?
The motor fits perfectly in the original motor housing (it's glued into the EPO in EasyStar, I believe in the Bixler now, too), and, coupled with a 6x4 or 6x5 prop, and a 3S battery, the EasyStar can climb almost vertically, or achieve super-fast level flight.

Just bring them back to stock, HobbyKing :)

Awesome motor! It works great on the EasyStar, but when is the motor going to be back in stock???? It has been out of stock for over a month.

I bought one for my Easy Star and it was defective (not started).
I bought another one (I must remember to buy everything from a wild pair of Hobby King when the price is low!) With a 6x4 prop is great. The Easy Star take off from the hands as an arrow even with half throttle and climbs vertically so incredible. Very Good!

Works great in my modded easystar. With a 2200mah 3s lipo it spins a 6x4 prop and can carry my gopro with ease.

I have used it on 70mm edf and after 2 minutes it burned! The strange thing is that it was only 25th in 6s. 550watt but it was very hot. that sucks!

Installed it as recommended by the community in an FPV Easystar, It worked great for a while but last day I needed power so it ran 5mn at 22A (I can tell with the OSD) and suddenly the motor collapsed.

So it is an OK motor but do not run it at max more then 1mn on 3S with 6x4 Prop. Will try the other version of this one (with heatsink).

is really a good engine, done well and with great sensitivity and softness. But I do not think its a 2200kv. Why has the same performance 2100kv uotrunner turnigy.
70mm EDF with 5 blades and lipo 6s 2450mAh 30c turnigy ago: 24A and 550watt.
70mm EDF with 6 blades and lipo 6s 2450mAh 30c turnigy ago: 32A and 700watt.
A little hot but everything to normal.
Then he has another problem:
TREE is short and can not be used with EDF 70mm 3 blade high speed because this EDF uses a tree-style vemotech very short. Both components are not compatible.
