I ordered this but I got a SSV-9311BB (much slower!). The HK told me that's the same with a different name but this come with metall gears not with platic (which is normally good but as mentioned much slower for the tail of my 450)

Bought one but get a differnt one. Package says HXT9311BB but it looks like the HXT9317 with metal gear. Description on the bag shows different technical data (e.g. speed only 0.12 s instead of 0.10 as written). My first disapointment at HK!

I give this servo a 5 stars because it worked and performed very well with my TREX 250 standard kit. Provided lots of torque needed to move the tail mechanism

I don't know to describe this one because the pic is diffrent from the one I received. it is ssv 9311BB 0.12sec with metal gear. It just seem like a standard servo with normal speed

I've put this servo in a T-Rex XL for the Tail rotor. The speed (0.10sec) is very correct the gyro respond and the T-Rex keep its trajectory. The power (1.3Kg) is enough for this helico. The 3 other servos are the HXT900 9g 1.6kg 0.12sec. The set is a good choice

Centering Problems

Nov 14, 2007

Decent... but has problems centering. I use them as aileron servos on a cularis electric glider. They work ok and the glider flies fine. However I do have very minor problems keeping the wings level in flight. On the ground, you can tell this problem is due to the fact that the ailerons return to distinctly different positions depending on which way the servo moved previously. The good news is they are consistent as far as the two positions they return to, but unfortunately they are not the same position. I tired to increase the throws on the ailerons and this only magnified the problem and I had to go back to the shorter throws.

Great for 18R - mods required

Nov 14, 2007

I bought two of these servos for use in an Associated RC18R. The performance is better than the stock servo at half the price, but the stock servo saver does not fit so be prepared to get creative! I ran without a servo saver and ended up breaking a gear. Not the servo's fault for sure.

HXT 9311BB

Good quality servo, fast, quiet and strong. Cant tell something about precision in the moment, but no jitter in neutral position. Some larger arms could be added, but nevertheless 5 Stars
