Gona try this one in a sebart sukhoi 140 with 20*8 apce prop.

Perfect clone for the axi, even beter compared with the price. Have many turnigy engines and no falures yet. Glue the magnets and your good for hundreds of flights.

Sehr sauberer Motoreinbau. Alles aus Alu eloxiert. Edel. Funktional.

Robust motor mount

This is a superb motor mount which is well made and very solid. As a precaution I would recommend assembling it with some form of loctite just to ensure it doesn't work loose.

The above picture does not depict the reverse chamfering of the motor mounting holes on the X pieces.

Snapring retainer collar hole on mount is 16mm or 5/8"

50-65 HXT Motor Mount

Nov 14, 2007

Very nice mount with good machine work.

Anodized the same color as Turnigy motors.

End to end length of 92mm or 3 5/8"

End to end width of 82mm or 3 7/32"

Inside length of 80mm or 3 5/32"

Inside width of 59mm or 2 5/16"

Holes for mounting motor are 31mm or

1 3/16" center to center.

The way the x pieces are machined with one piece having the motor mounting holes chamfered on the opposite side from the other piece, allows you to mount the motor inside or outside the mount.

The only negative I can give this mount, is the center hole on the x pieces is too small for the snapring retainer collar to fit through, just like the mounts that come with the Turnigy motors. I am going to do what 1 person suggested on the Turnigy 50-65 motor Review page, use some washers between the collar and snapring. Widening the hole is another option.

All in all, I'm happy with this mount, and will be buying more.
