Ok so the new flex shaft came with a clear tube pre cut to fit very tight in the foot so once you press it in and remount the foot to the boat the flex shaft can not cone out of the boat and it reduces the viberation and your good to go. it should have came like that to start with. thanks hobby king

Everything is good but the flex shaft coupler. i too lost my flex shaft and prop from the coupler . need to be re-designed with a hole in the middle of the shaft and coupler nut with a pin or cotter key in it so it cant come off because water will inter the boat quickly thru the flex shaft tube without the flex shaft in it. Come on guy's you can do better than this. Figure out a new flex shaft and coupler nut replacement for all of us thankyou.

Assembled the prop and installed batteries. Prop shaft was tight as well as properly in place. Ram the boat for 10 minutes and lost the entire prop and flex shaft from the coupler. Surprise surprise, same problem others have mentioned in their reviews, which I didn’t take seriously enough. Tried to get replacement but they refused to send me a replacement . They said it was my fault for failing to tighten the shaft at the coupler. Absolute BS. I ended up ordering a new shaft and prop over a month ago. Both are on back order. Huge disappointment for my 10 year old on his birthday. Shame on you Hobby King.

Got this cool boat on my Birthday in Nov. But there was a big problem. The coupler from motor to flex shaft was bent. Hey hobbyking gives me the replacement but they are still on backorder 2 Month now!!!!
The rest was OK. Good powerful engine with massive speed on 6s. Water comes in because the coupler was bent and it gives massive vibration.
Could I say it's good? Yes I can. But I you want buy this rc boat don't brake parts because you didn't get replacement on Hobbyking. That's sad. I didn't buy anything on hk because replacement parts doesn't come in.

First run - like another reviewer, the flexi shaft came off the coupler and sank to the bottom of the lake shaft prop and everything in between. Water entered the boat though the shaft tube soaking the lipo's and electronic equipment inside and hobbyking are not wanting to replace any parts. I'm just asking them to replace the shaft and prop - approximately $20.00. So I go ahead and try to replace the parts and the flex shaft and prop are on backorder. Now I have a $350.00 boat that is not, and will not be functioning......? Stay away from Hobby King. BTW, I have been a great loyal customer and have literally spent several hundreds of dollars with Hobby King....nice way to loose a loyal customer!!!!!

Hard to find replacement parts.

Purchased as my second RC boat. The motor collet it poor quality and is an oddball size (6mm at the motor and 5mm at the flex shaft) most but not all parts are compatible with a Jonesway Alpha RC boat which is popular in the European market. I did like the remote for what it's worth but I feel at the price point you should have something that runs real well out of the box without having to invest much money for it to run properly.

Ein gut ausgestattetes Boot mit Aluteilen. Aus der Packung heraus sofort gute Fahrleistungen. Die Farbgebung ist in sehr gut. Es gibt keine Ränder, alles liegt unter dem Klarlack. Die Motorkühlung ist nicht optimal, da ein Außenläufer eingesetzt ist. Hier wird nur die Motorhalterung gekühlt. Der ESC hingegen wird gut gekühlt.

Für den Preis ein gutes Boot

Ein sehr gut laufendes Boot mit toller Wasserlage. Die Geschwindigkeitsangabe ist allerdings sehr optimistisch. Mit 4 S läuft es ca. 54 kmh, mit 6 S 65 kmh. Aber nur für ein bis zwei Minuten kann sind Motor und Regler glühend heiss. Da das Boot sehr gut läuft habe ich jetzt Regler und Motor gewechselt.
