Sporting roughly the same size and weight as the ImmersionRC's 5.8GHz audio/video transmitters the new 2.4GHz audio/video transmitter brings a few features to market that will allow you to further reap the benefits of choosing ImmersionRC's equipment for your next FPV mission. The 5V output has been beefed up to handle up to 1.5A of current output, which means you can power, and charge, your HD camera such as a Mobius, straight off of our audio/video transmitter. So no more fiddling with external 5V supplies, just hook it up and be done with it. The new 700mW 2.4GHz transmitter is designed to run straight off of your main flight-pack and supports a wide voltage input range of 6-25V (2~6s) direct. Due to its extremely low-noise, highly efficient switching regulator, there's no additional heat being generated when running off of higher voltages and the switching regulator's input is well filtered to cope with noise from your speed controller, or other electronics connected within your aircraft.
The NexWaveRF based 2.4GHz audio/video transmitter has a 700mW/28.5dB RF output power, putting it a notch above the commonly available 500mW 2.4GHz transmitters from other manufacturers. It features the same industry standard locking connectors for connecting your battery and camera or audio/video source as featured on ImmersionRC's other products. This makes the new 2.4GHz audio/video transmitter fully compatible with the existing 5.8GHz audio/video transmitters; it can be swapped out directly as all the connectors, and connector pin-outs, are the same. This also applies to the SMA-female antenna connector used.

DOESNT GET TOO HOT SINCE I ADDED A HEATSINK FROM AN OLD ESC, SO FAR DUE TO BATTERY LIMITATIONS IVE REACHED 5.5 KILOMETRES WITH A VAS SKEW PLANAR RHCP AND A VAS HELICAL RHCP 6 OR SEVEN TURN AND AN ARKBIRD UHF ON THE PLANE FOR CONTROL AND AN IMMERSION UNO 2400 RX, SO FAR ONLY TRIED CHANNEL 8, 2510. ABSOLUTELY CRYSTAL CLEAR NO SIGNS OF DROPOUT WHATSOEVER.A little expensive, however its performance makes it worth the price!
needs a little patience to find out which channel works best with different area, a pain in the arse. 3 watts power consumption isn't that bad, would last for 20 minutes with a 3s 480mah battery.
