Build your static model fleet with the 1/48 Scale Hawker Typhoon Mk.I B Plastic Model Kit. The Hawker Typhoon was the most famous British single-seat fighter-bomber used by the Royal Air Force during the Second World War.

The Typhoons robust structure and the outstanding aerodynamic performance at low altitude made it ideal to perform ground attack and close support duties. The main armament was redeveloped to enhance the role of the fighter-bomber, the upgraded version was equipped with 4, 20mm Hispano cannons installed in the wings. Thanks to the reliable Napier Sabre 24 piston engine, the Typhoon was able to reach a top speed of 660 Kph and could carry 900kg of ordinance. It was widely used during 1944 for the preliminary operations before “D-Day” including raids against communication and transport lines, and providing support for the British forces by attacking attack enemy ground targets.
