Italeri 1/48 Scale Hurricane Mk.IIc Plastic Model Kit

Build your static model fleet with the 1/48 Scale Hurricane Mk.IIc. The Hawker Hurricane has was the most widely used fighter by the British Royal Air Force at the beginning of World War II. It  contributed significantly to the victory of the RAF during the Battle of Britain. The Hurricane gradually changed its role thanks to the adoption of specific versions.  The Hurricane Mk. IIC had significant armament boasting 4 x 20 mm cannons mounted in the wings.

The adoption of the 20mm cannons Instead of the traditional 7.7 mm machine guns made the Hurricane extremely effective in the ground attack and close support missions. The Hurricane Mk.IIC was equipped with the more powerful supercharged Merlin XX engine capable of delivering 1,185 HP. The adoption of the new engine changed the shape of the “nose” and the Mk II was longer than the previous versions.
