I tried finding the distance and the diameter of the holes of this motor before buying it, but I've not found it. So I'll be giving this indication: separation of diametrically opposed holes = 30 mm, diameter of holes: m4
good motor!Very good price, i receieved it this tuesday. a huge motor, the sizes are right.
It's a big and very powerful motor however it warms a lot, it is very inefficient, but, what the hell, 40 dollar a 5 hp brushless?
You can't expect a very good motor, but by this prize you wont find anything as powerful as cheap as this.
the biggest problem of this motor is it's warmingthis is one bad motor put it in a savage 25 conversion with the 150 amp esc 25-44 gears ithe savage will do back flips one after the other
it is the attention at all the rc car shows for the past year now the only thing wrong with this motor to much power HA stays cool
150 amp esc
5200 mah batt.
cant go wrong with motorI bought this motor not realizing it was a larger motor for planes, but i am glad i did. after finding a pinion gear that fit the shaft, i have had no problems. the motor gets warm but not too hot and it makes my kyosho wheelie on command. crazy power and top end with a 20t pinion. i could probably go up to 26t and increase my top speed without compromising torque. great motor for the price.Type your review here.
Try to include as much data as possible.
I got this engine to run it with a 180 amp esc turnigy with my hull genesis many say they will not hold up to 6 s for a long time tell me that you will endure 'to 6 s on the genesis thanks for the reply
helix and that I should use weights?
Used for hpi svavage 25 25 conversion it now does back flips and fast
used hobbyking esc and after first run had to change difs to the flux
and also the pinion 25 and spur 45 faster and stonger than nitro enginehere is a test http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=am8b1tFbkQAcheck the soldering on the connectors!! and watch the temps!
use in a 1/8scale truggy on 4s is very fast.
on 6s it's getting scary.i use this motor in my truggy with the turnigy ez run 150A esc on 4s lipo and it's very fast.
This motor will use allot of amps!! with my old motor i got 10 min runtime now i have 5 min.
but it's very fast at 4s lipo on 6s my truggy is doing more then 100 km/h watch the temp!! i have bought some kershaw 6mm mod1 pinions 18t and 20t.arrived today, this motor is huge gonna put it in my truggy 1/8 scale. HOW many POLES does this motor have, i gues 4 but do not know for sure!!!!
