magnet exploded after many high speed runs. great value of motor, but you will need a good cooling system to keep the heat off, i used air cooling and the motor failed but im sure with liquid cooling it be fine.

i have this in my red cat rally 1/5 . I have heard they run hot . There is a 1/5 motor heatsink and fan i bought that also . Just running it at 6s and the current draw is 51 amps . Haven't put it through its paces yet . But if temps are reasonable I will try for 7s and 8s. Stay tuned.

Superb motor! Tested at 6S and 130Amps. Incredible power! Do not hold it for too long at full power unless you make sure this it is cooled down either by a water jacket or front and back holes on motor.

This motor is a monster. Installed on a Traxxas Summit using the Hobbyking 150a ESC using 20t pinion 62t spur. Bash for 30 mins both esc and motor are only warm. I'm not into speed too much and this motor has plenty. This thing has so much torque and it's cheap. I used a dremmel to whittle the shaft down to 5mm. A tutorial is available on you tube to do this. Very pleased.

Motor hat 3,5kw stimmt schon, ABER fr kurze Zeit, auf dauer sind eher 800w angesagt wegen Ueberhitzung, ausser man bohr die Schilde auf.
