Watch out for the inevitable loose magnet(s). The motor is POWERFUL. I used it in a 2m Kanata with 3D performance swinging a 20x8 prop@3685 watts, 12s and 78amps. Magnets went loose twice and sized up the motor with deadstick landings. I got rid of this motor for a Power160 and reduced performance but RELIABLE power

Did about 20 flights without any problem on a tug with 10S-5000mAh and prop 19x10. Powerfull to pull 4.5m gliders. But now 1 magnet loose, but I cannot remove the magnet to putt glue under it. Any suggestions to remove that magnet. What glue to use : epoxy? silicone?

Hi there

I use this big brushless outrunner motor in a 4,5 meter Sailplaine. The weight

is 5,5Kg.I powert it with 12 Lipos and a 17" folding prop and a sentilon HV

brushless controler. The folding prop has under full power 8400 rpm and takes

25A.High voltage and low ampere this is the way. This untit works very well

and the plain goes with 8 meter a second in to the scy.

Now i will buy another of this motor to power a 6 meter ASW27.

The motor is a powerhouse on 12S using a 20X10E APC and Scentilon 100 amp ESC. I have noted no tendancy to screach. It has not gotten hot (110F max)

Using 12S 5000 mah supplied by either 3 X 4S or 4X3S 5000 Zippy 25C

Unfortunately it is having problems with retaining the magnets. I'm glueing the magnets back in as they pop free. Indications are there was not enough glue applied at the factory.

My motor is appx 1 yr old.

I am running this motor in a towing plane with a 20x10 APC electric -> 67 Amps static with 10S Rhino 4900 20C, 18x10 APC el. gives 53A. No issues after 40 Flights - pulls strong like a rhinozeros :). A reliable and very well performing motor!
