Great product! The motor has plenty of torque and power! It is giving my slipper clutch quite the workout! The only downsize is the shaft size. 5mm is not all that common for local hobby shops to carry for pinions. No big deal for the price and quality of this motor. My SC10 screams now!

I put that engine in a Slash 4X4 with 15T pinion, Velineon VXL-3s an a 3s 5000mah 40-50C lipo. Max Amp is 110A and Max Watt is 1300W. Temperatur is abot 45C the ESC is about 50C. Im going to try 4s with the Trackstar 150A ESC later. Only onroad use!!

Used this motor in a Stock Slash 4x4 and a 16T pinion. No problems with heat or acceleration. Great power and wonderful runtime using a Turnigy 2S-5000mah LiPo battery. The VXL ESC w/fan and 7L with a CC Blower Fan keeps both at 110 or below.

Bought for Traxxas Stampede. Use mod0.8/32pitch pinion and spurr (jato(slash 4x4 etc). Those pinions are easy to find with 5mm bore.

The only disadvantage is that you need a battery that can at least give 100 amps peak.

But if you want the car to go fast there is no way around this, with any motor.

My ez run kv4400 burned (overheated)

always use heatzinks in cars or most motors will burn up

Nice Motor very smooth but be aware its very amp hungry Remember to put heatzink and fan on it though, the powerdraw is a 110 amps peak, normal cars motor don't stand a chance.
