Use this on my Hawk F5B training hotliner..

With Gear 4:1 and Carbon prop RF 15x13 the plane is accelerating vertical. After 2 sec out of sight.

No external cooling and motor makes 25 sec. total run time per flight.

Temperature is warm but still exceptabel.

Good value for money. Deal!

Using this with the Birdie 100A (w/5A bec) water-cooled ESC on a 70cm mono-hull with a 40mm prop on 2 cell Lipo. Setup currently pulls 80~83 amps max and the ESC gets warm (but not hot) with water cooling. My cooling setup is a rudder pick-up into a 36mm motor water jacket, then through a water-cooled motor mount, then though the ESC, and final out a side mounted water outlet hole. I will provide more updates as I run the setup more. :)

Obrigado HobbyKing.

Ingls: The engine is awesome, really nice, very strong and fast, used in the conversion of a Kyosho DRT , the car was magnificent, goes much, much more starter, I had to configure the control so that the initial output is smoother, and ABS brakes have to be, if not break the gear, the engine very strong. Thank HobbyKing.

A very good motor.Gives really good power to my hpi mt2 E-conversion with HK 100A esc and 2x turnigy 2200mAh lipos connected in paraller.I also bought "TURNIGY Heat Sink with Fan for 36 series motors" and it keeps the motor temps really low even after hard bashing sessions.

if you have a Traxxas Slash 4X4 and are looking for more power this is the motor to use.

Pick up this motor, a 15tooth .8 mod 32pitch 5mm pinion, and a 52 tooth spur gear. And you will have slightly higher top end, but loads more torque and you only dare about 70 amps full throttle which means longer run time and a cooler motor and esc!
Mate this motor with a zippy 5000 mah 30C and your stock vxl esc. My moor temps after hard running is only 110F vs 165F stock, and I can wheelly on demand for an entire battery pack.

You will need to make some extension wires between you esc and motor ( if your using a Traxxas vxl) as the motor wires are only about 2 inches. The motor comes with 4mm female bullets to convert you esc with.

I would buy this again!.

Bought this motor for a converted slash 4x4(turned it into a buggy). Torque
is incredible, stock gearing of 13/54 can be matched with this kv by using a 15/52. You will get about the same speed. Not near as hot as stock vxl motor and the stock speed control stays cooler, also slightly longer run times and a more linear feel on the throttle. Only problem is the rotor was shimmed too much, putting stress on the bearings, started ceasing after about 3 min of running. had to take apart and replace one of the shims with a washer half the thickness. works perfect now. even with the problem i still give it 5 stars because of the value.
