Good: Small size, 20AWG silicone wires on the battery side, soft, perhaps silicone wires on the output side terminated with a standard 3-pin servo connector on the end (signal wire is of course missing). Tested with a lab power supply and this BEC cuts out when the battery voltage falls to around 4V (or 2V/cell on 2S). Bright green LED comes on when powered. The big capacitor (pictured) goes across the battery input leads and appears to be there to provide resistance to voltage sags (brownouts), which is nice.
Bad: That capacitor is only supported by it's leads, so some hot glue around it might help prevent it's unexpected loss in the event of a crash.
