This is a good quality product. As a glider flyer who used extensively hi-starts to launch gliders, I would recommend it. The lastic is 6 meters long and can be easily stretched twice its length, even more. You can also attach a longer tow line to achieve higher starts. I used this bungee successfully to launch small gliders in the park. For my 2M+ birds, I use a dedicated Dynaflite hi-start with much longer tubing.

I bought a pet anchor to tie it to the ground . Doubled up to launch a 2kg plane easily.
Tied the cord using an anglers loop knot.

I know this item is intended to launch jet type planes but I purchased it to launch a 48" wingspan powered glider. If you are looking for a small hi-start type launcher, this is it. I can use it as is to get a 20 to 25 ft. launch but I replaced the original cord with 65 feet of string and I get a much taller launch. 4ft glider folks, buy it.

Starts X-UAV Mini Talon(about 1.9 kg wieght, 1.3m wingspan) perfectly. I think that 3-4 kilos will be good to.
