MaBoRun Twisting Staircase Educational Science Toy Kit

The MaBoRun series of educational science toys are simple to assemble and require no glue, they just clip together. These toys demonstrate how the science of dynamics, energy and mechanics work. Each unit is supplied with an easy to follow construction guide and the parts are interchangeable with other sets in the "MaBoRun" standard series. This means that if you collect the whole range then you can have fun designing your own educational toys.

Twisting Staircase:
The sequence starts when the ball bearing (8 supplied) is rolled onto the base of the twisting staircase where it is captured and starts its ascent up the staircase. At the top the first bearing rolls down a chute then gets captured in the first hole at the top, the second bearing gets captured in the second hole, then the third bearing rolls to the end hole, it drops through and releases the other 2 bearings. All the bearings then travel down either a track to a rocking chute or another track which drops them to the next level where they are returned to the base of the staircase via another chute where the sequence starts once again. The Twisting Staircase requires 1 x "AAA" 1.5V (LR03) battery which is not included.
