    Product Description

    Another Chinese clone of the bantam range of chargers.
    The MAX-E6 is put together well and appears to be of good quality.
    The menu and programming are the same as the iMAX and GT-Power chargers.
    What makes this charger special is that it includes the software and temperature probe as well as a healthy range of plugs to suit most battery charging situations.
    The MAX-E6 can charge NiCd, NiMH, Lilo, Lipo, LiFe and Pb, it has a built in balancer, temp sensor and USB port.

    It has some drawbacks:

    * I have to selecta a: e-Station BC-8.

    * Can't get Englich to work, have to use Deutsch, menu won't switch.

    * Can crach if charging is restarted during data recording, stop recording and start again befor starting charge cycle.

    I had to copy gdiplus.dll from another win 2000 Pc to get it to work on the win 2000 that I wanted to use it.

    Seems like this dll don't exist on every win 2000 installation.

    I liked this charger when I got it. Easy to use and so on, but it stopped working on a very first day I got it :(



    Fan stopped while charging. I checked the charger and display was blank. After reconnecting power, fan started again but display stayed dark.

    Very good charger.You can charge almost everything also you can connect it with the computer with usb and watch all the data of the batery.And last it has inside all the cables you will need for all the type of bateries

    PC data logging works with Logview2.4 if the selected device is e-Station BC6-10. Please note that the USB function has to be enable from the menu on the charger

    cooling fan stopped working

    OK Charger, and great for the low price. Good balancing of LIPO cells.

    Du not use the LIPO discharge program, the cell voltage drops to under 3V.

    Use the NIMH/NICAD discharge for LIPO also, then you can set the end voltage manually.



    Cooling fan has stopped working, so the charger gets hot - hot -hot

    The Max E6 is a great charger, more settings than you can imagine, lipo, nimh, nicd, Pg, etc. The only problem I have ever had in the months I have had it was that the deans connectors on the end of the charger came off but when sottered back on works flawlessly. Amazing charging times also when put in "Fast Charge" mode. A+ charger. Thank you so much Hobbycity, great service and great products.

    Perfect charger, balances 6 cells perfectly at exactly 4.20 Volts!



    Would definetely recommend this MAX E6 charger to anyone!!
