Not a beginners printer, it didnt like the recommended software and settings, so i used Repetier Host, with Prusa i3 settings, and that works fine. You need to print some upgrades like z braces, and make sure all the screws are properly tight, because they are a bit lazy putting this one together. Needs drylin bearings as the lm88u bearings it comes with are terrible, noisy and loose. But it prints fast, bridges well, and has a large print area, with a heated bed. Also because its a Prusa i3 clone, there are heaps of upgrades and mods available. Mine is going well, i like it. Good value if you want a second printer, and have the skills to take care of any problems yourself.

Hands down the best 3D Printer for the price!!!
I have two 3D printers, 1 that is worth $1600, and this one, and this one is far better...
Prints PLA like a boss, ABS does need a bit of tweaking, but glue stick or hairspray works well. If you are looking for an affordable, cost-effective and large volume 3D printer this is the one for you!!!

If you are even just considering buying this printer, do it.
It is a great printer. I have been printing solely with ABS and producing great results. I bought a cheap piece of borosilicate glass off ebay for an improved print bed, cost $25 and couldn't be happier with results, printing on top of an ABS slurry (look it up and your prints will stick no worries). About to buy some flexible filament which I am confident I will have no trouble with and thought I might give a quick review of my experience with the Malyan M150. Great printer.

Hey guys.
This was also my first 3d printer which worked perfectly from day one. I must of got one made on monday as it worked straight out of the box.
Sadly after 15 or so prints the Linear bearing crapped out on the table but never fear, I got 12 of them for $12 on ebay.

Great product for the price and i would recommend it.

This is my first 3D printer and all in all i am impressed.
I missed out on the Aldi Cocoon Create but my understanding is this is basically the v3 of that machine with the belt rubbing issue and others fixed.

My only issue was after the first print the printer kept showing err:maxtemp for the hotend, yet it was stone cold.
I trawled the internet and found the most likely cause to be a short in the thermistor.
I removed the thermistor and inspected it before adjusting it and reinserting it.

NOW if i wasn't inclined to tinker and get it working myself this might be quite a frustration for others as HK support was simply to return the unit.

Its now running perfectly and i would recommend picking one up if your in the market for a great budget machine.
