This 90mm EDF jet is based on a Russian twin-engine jet fighter named the Mikoyan MiG-29. In 1982, the MiG-29 jet entered service with the Soviet Air Force. Originally designed for combat against enemy aircraft, the MiG-29s quickly became furnished as multirole fighters with air-to-surface weapons and precision munitions. While the Russian army has upgraded their jet fighters, the MiG-29 remains a popular export aircraft, operating in over 30 nations.
