    Turnigy Multistar Mini 18A V2 ESC w/ BLHeli (OPTO)

    MultiStar ESCs are a quality speed controller at a fantastic price! Designed for simple installation and easy setup these ESCs have proven to offer excellent performance when used in Multi-rotor applications. If you're starting out in Multi-rotors and need an easy to install solution that is tested and proven to work with Multi-rotors then these speed controllers have you covered.

    These V2 ESC's features BLHeli software for a very smooth yet linear throttle response, without sacrificing a rapid, crisp, response to any throttle input.

    All Multistar series ESC's come with bullet connectors installed that are suited to the ESC's rated power handling. This allows for plug and play convenience by simply adding the appropriate battery supply splitter (3 or 4 ESC) and motor lead extensions from the Multistar modular accessory line. What could be simpler?

    All Multistar ESC's feature an ATmega MCU that opens the door to customizable firmware – The V2 Multistar comes with BLheli software pre-installed, and for those so inclined a easy to use USB tool is available for Configuration and updating via the BLHeli Suite GUI.

    these will not connect via 1wire aka these will not connect to Blheli through your flight controller one of the reasons i wanted to get blheli esc's... i guess they dont have blheli bootloader or something like that... they work ok, but i wanted to be able to set blheli parameters easily, which you cant do with these.

    I have ordered 6 pcs. initially and so far one has been faulty.
    But let me start with the good things.
    - Price for value is OK and if functioning they do thier job very well.
    - I run theese with 10 Amp motors and as mentioned 5 of 6 work fine. initially all 6 worked but after esc calibration one of those did not throttle up properly anymore.
    When at 50pcnt stick the esc is at 100pcnt even after recalibration over and over again.

    but i guess at that price this shouldn't wonder anyone

    short and sweet. I tried a big review and it didn't go through. So here it is, they shut down well under spec, they don't have a capacitor (helps take up shock loads during throttle ups), they shut off and do not restart without unplugging and plugging in again (brown out?)
