after having this thing for almost two years, finally got it in to the air. As the video says, very tail heavy with a .95 nano 2cell. Question is, what is the proper CG, there's nothing in the manual. Really flys like a pig. ALso, the tail on my was not straight out of the box due to the factory glueing it incorrectly. That's hardly the biggest problem with it though. I'll see what it's like i try it with a 1200mah. Assuming I haven't bent the shaft already.

I bought this little warbird and yesterday it was airborne! Lots of fun for a smal price. Its a little agile plane and i can handle it very well. Its defenitly NO beginner plane but when you have some experience you can show off.

I fly a 2 cell 1000mah Turnigy and that gives 6 minutes of full speed fun.

Batteria adoperata 2 s. In volo una favola.

Well, the maiden flight did not go to plan. With a 1000mah 3s 25c battery stiffed all the way forward, even with the added weight of the larger than stock battery, the plane was really tailheavy. It was like an SU27 doing the cobra at an airshow. I managed by some miracle to get it down, and adjusted the cg to 42mm from leading edge with some added weight in the nose.

It was a different plane. Once trimmed, it flew like it was on rails, and the faster the speed the better it felt. Compared to the P51 in the same size, the P40 will stall earlier, but it's roll rate was better and it feels more stable at speed.

On the 3s batteries, this plane is a little rocket, with unlimited vertical performance. It is probably my fastest plane. I highly recommend this plane, but you must have experience with warbirds as it needs to be flown quite quickly so it does not stall.

this plane is deffantly not for a begginer it tip stalls very badly at low speeds but once you work out its faults eg you need to run it on 3s or higher because the recommened 2s batterys dont get it going fast enuff to stay in the air (i am running 1300 3s zippys) and they work a dream.... the standered motor gets a little hot on 3s and after a fue runs mine burnt out mid flight (looked really cool with a white smoke trail as it came into land luckly there was no damage:) i am now running a 2100 kv motor that i had laying around runs really nice... i would also reinforse the rear stadaliser were the have joined the two halfs of the fusilage together it is a real week point in the plain and will snap of in the first crash like mine did :) all in all it is a fun plane to fly once you have got it flying spot on

I have been flying mine for months on the 2s 1000mah battery for scale like speed, but decided to try a 3s 1000mah and am very impressed with the speed
Have not changed the ESC , no problems . Great plane for the price. Just make sure COG is correct.

IMHO Not as nice to fly as Me 109 or Mustang in this set. Recommend ditch U/Cart and keep the speed up.

Great flyer - Just make sure to check the COG, which is 45 mm
I added the rudder servo and had to add 14g to get COG.
This plane is for experienced pilots - very responsive
Elevator does not require much travel
Flys like a warbird - air speed is life and torques to the left on take off
I am using the 2S 1000 mah turnigy battery
Very happy for the price - looks good in the air
