Came a bit scratched, but I've made it look even worse after elevator linkage failure. Flies great, can fly slow (when not too heavy) but at max throttle rather fast. Looks nice too - I like it's style when built in clear variant - with everything hidden inside.
Easy to notice that it was designed for fpv - it really wants to fly away from you at that speed and size. I can't fly visually at more than 80 meters.
C20 motor from combo and 5x3 GWS DD prop works great - and balanced.
Monocycle gear would be really good - even if you can handlaunch, usual takeoff is really easier and beautiful.
See a bit mor ein the discussions - I've wrote mini-review there before I got Gold customer level.

If you'll attach horizontal stabiliser with blind nut, nylon screw and small pin in front to prevent it from rotating, the plane can be easily flat-packed - very useful for those who have no car, as you can take small 80cm long pack everywhere.

buy it. the ration price quality is exceptional. I buy the recommended turnigy 1440 servo but they are too small to fit correctly in plane. PS: this plane dont like heavy battery

Nice small plane, reenforcing the tail and main wing with cf. There's no manual with this plane and was wondering if anyone knows where the cg is?

This is nice simple FPV plane. The size makes it much more resilient than a normal sized RC plane when you crash. As other have said, it is tail heavy, meant for FPV. The extra weight makes it fast, higher stall speed. Really hard to build and keep it a lot under 400 grams. I can't see 300g as achievable, but who knows. I even flew it for a bit with EagleTreeOSD at about 500g, but have since simplified it. Flies FPV like a larger plane, and I fly it almost daily, more than my other 3 FPV planes. I bought a 2nd one as a spare - so cheap!

Badly packed, arrived with damaged box, and no instructions as usual. Nice plane, luckily it was damaged in transit.

I love this model for micro FPV. It has some flaws though:
1. The tail construction is awfully weak. No much thought, if any, was put into that in the design phase, as the servo gap there leaves about 2 or 3 mm of EPO foam over to prevent the stabilizer from breaking off (which it did in my case during a hard landing). I suggest you fill the gap with spare EPO foam before mounting the stabilizer and insert a thin carbon rod into the tail fin.
2. It tends to end up tail heavy. Be careful and do all you can to move the weight forward. I shaved 13mm off of the foam motor mount because it as no purpose being behind the trailing edge of the wing. I also placed the elevator and rudder servos inside the fuselage below the CG spot and use Sullivan 0.032 flexible micro pushrods.
3. The stickers have 2 layers and the top layer peels off too easily. I had to remove them in order to use scotch tape for hinges. Unfortunately the bottom layer sticks well and plucks some pieces of foam out when it is peeled off.

I use and recommend the TGY-D1290P servos: fast, precise, and fairly wide voltage range.
I'm using a 800mah 2S lipo for power, a 350mah 1S for FPV, a Turnigy 10A ESC, and a 20g Turnigy 2211 2300kv with 5x4 prop which delivers more than enough power, so to move the CG even more forward and use smaller batteries, I've ordered the 10g 18-11 2000kv motor.
For FPV, I use a 1g nano cmos c

I maidened this model yesterday in very windy conditions.
My setup:
receiver ~ http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=11972
servos ~ http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=5458
speed control ~ http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=4204
I bought this motor form my lhs because the other one I bought from hk had a motor mount that was too big

CG is on the aileron servo cable channel

The model handled the wind well, it's not for beginners, too fast and bulid is not straight forward. It rolls nicely but loops are laboured even with dive speed my cg may be too far forward. Rudder authority is good. The model suffers from being tail heavy (it has been designed to carry fpv gear). I had to use my 2s3p receiver lipo to power the model without adding weight.

Slope soaring thumbsup. I had a fantastic time at the slope after my powered flight. The model looks like a cartoon Pilatus B4. Just popped off the prop and chucked the model into the lift. Stall turns were great. Inverted flight suffers from the flat bottomed airfoil. The model is very tough too. In a moment of foolishness, I dived it straight in to the slope. The impact shifted my batter

I was surprised how well it flew , goes verticle with this set up very acrobatic turns on a dime and still slows down for the landing with no tip stalling...small size makes it easy to transport, ity just like a smaler vertion of my bixler...
