Disappointment: the engine was already damaged and therefore unusable upon receipt of the kit.

In addition the installation instructions are too succinct: it does not explain:

- How to set the servos (before installation of course!)

- Where to place the large carbon rod

- How to assemble the different parts that are not easy to put together

- What glue to use

- And many other things missing ...

My decision is: I do not order more at HobbyKing.

Indeed, it is better to buy a little more expensive in Europe and / or the U.S. rather than Asia!

Those who continue, take a risk ...

Excellent little plane - I've had a few of this type of construction, and this is by far the nicest. Goes together easily with CA glue, though well worth using kicker as the soft EPP foam makes the glue slow to set. Only negative was that the O-rings supplied for the prop saver are way too small so I had to find my own. But the plane flies beautifully: rolls very easily, loops quite well and just floats down dead stick. Good Job HK!

Very easy and fast to built though instructions could do better with how the flat carbon strip can be used. With a 2 cell lipo there is enough power for decent flight. In my view, a lot more suited for indoor than out door flight. The 3mm depron wing will be the first to go when there is a crash. My fuselage was torn and the depron wing broke on Maiden flight. However, patched up and good to go again. Not really for beginners.

Easy build, but with a few mods. I used a smaller CF bar than what came with the kit to strengthen the main wing. I also added two short pieces to the canard. HC 2.5 gram servos, AR6300, AD-C5 motor, Turnigy 6A esc, Rhino 360 2 cell. AUW is 66 grams. The A05 motor that comes with the kit has a really weak metal mount. Mine broke during bench testing. The AD-C5 motor works well with a GWS 3x3 and the mount is much stronger.

Ok by now you guessed I bought all of the techone range. Again this went together well with no problems whatsoever I used the 3.7g Hobby King servos and 2S 350mAh battery. This one I flew indoors and it was serious good fun. battery flight times where around 5 minutes flatout and 7-8 minutes if flown with about 50% throttle. Great buy for $50. Go treat your self.

I'm using a Spektrum 6300 reciever & bluebird 3.3 gram servos. The wires in the servo connector MUST be changed before plugging into the receiver (they are different wiring)

The body is EPP foam while the wing is printed Depron. I found the body to be very "flimsy", but bit seems to hold up well in flight.

Included in the kit was a flat carbon strip, which I placed underneath the wing as a spar. No mention of this is in the instructions.
