Hi
Just bought and flown this little jet. Great to fly - nothing to say except how fantastic it really is. I built as stock but flew on a 1300 3cell Nano Tec battery with 10g weight on tail to balance c of g. Keep throws as suggested and c of g is spot on where shown.
Just beware that the elevator wires travel to the tail via 2 tubes inside the fuselage - the tubes need to be properly attached with more epoxy as they will become loose and you will loose elevator position. Do this BEFORE you glue on the wing.
Also be aware the jet is fast !!!!! so keep close and enjoy.....

Really great plane for the money. Easy to build and flies perfect on the adviced 3cell 850. Balance is spot on. It's not a beginners plane but much easier to fly then expected. It's so light that a firm underhand throw is enough to get it steady airborn. The adviced control throws are a bit to little in my opinion. I would give them a little more to get a quicker role and tighter loop. Also landing is easy, no sudden stall or anything.
Only remark is that my motor casing isn't perfectly centered so at full throtlle it's making a bit more sound than nessecary.

Very nice jet, I use lipo 3s-1300mah 30c with original ducted fan, esc, brushless motor, it can fly either faster or slowly no issue nevertheless it is not for beginner.
This size is usefull, I can fly everywhere, when i want
I like it. let you look at my video

I really really want to like this plane.

Looks are amazing - and the whole kit went together very very easily. I modified the servo arms to come out the top of the wings like the funfighter series - made sense to me.

Flight report: 1st flight / maiden on 3s 850mah approx 2.5min flight. Flew straight and true, not difficult to handle, slower than prop driven funfighters. Stable.

2nd attempt. 3s 850mah. Powered up for hand launch and stock esc died. No smoke, it just cut out. Frustrating. Replaced with 25a esc on hand and modified to fit 3s 1300mah nanotech up front

3rd flight. 3s 1300mah nanotech 30sec flight. Noticeable increase in performance and still handled impressively ... until about 30s into the flight and the fan exploded. was able to glide in and save the airframe.

Now waiting for a replacement EDF - HK alloy 3s unit... ...

Overall. Looks amazing & seems to be great value. I just have been frustrated with the tinkering to get it in the air. As such downgraded rating to 3 stars for quality

This was my second EDF and I still have it - great little aircraft, nice and stable. Flew it stock for a while hand launching (does not come with gear) but got sick of damaging it on landing, so bought the JPower 50mm EDF gear for it from SydneyRCJets. Goes well on 3S 1300mAH but no nose wheel steering. Then upgraded to the Stinger wheels with steerable NW off HK. Great addition and no real performance hit. Also took out the aileron servo lead splitter so that I could add flaps to the aircraft (one in AUX, one in Aileron on Rx) as the aircraft lands pretty fast without. Then I tried 4S 1000 mAH on stock engine and ESC. Wow, what an upgrade. Flies beautifully (20C batteries get way too hot, 30-35C go nicely). Good performance increase. Also added Dual Rate to make her perform better. Of note, I had to cut some of the foam away on the bottom of the canopy to get my XT60 connectors to fit easily. No biggy though. I really love this little EDF - my next mod is to replace the stock motor with a HK 4200kv 4S motor and see how that improves her performance. Fantastic and stable EDF for all levels.

Impressive. Stock model has enough power to scream down the road and climb to a good altitude. Plenty speed, great performance and no problem to land.

I had to buy the landing gear separately because they don't come with the standard package.

This plane is not recommended for a novice, but certainly easier to handle than a 30-35mm EDF.

Also recommend dampening throws on the elevators and ailerons while you get used to it.

I fly 64mm, 50mm and 30mm EDFs and I must say that the 50mm series is my favorite because of portability and ability to handle a bit of wind.

Bearing in mind my limited experience with other products, I just can absolutely recommend this beautiful mini jet. The kit arrived in very good condition. it was built within ~45 min and everything fit nicely together. in the air It has an suprisingly good performance, the flight characteristics are very stable and precise, even in light windy conditions. As well the landing is easy, as the plane becomes just a little unstable during (very) slow flight. A notch more speed and you can land it perfectly.
The only thing, consider to replace the wing servos with better quality ones.
But all in all it's just a GREAT EDF Jet
