    Product Description

    This is what you and the kids have been waiting for, a miniature submarine that will dive, go forwards and reverse and will steer left and right. The supplied 40MHz transmitter (which is also waterproof) is very easy to use with push buttons so it is perfect for young and old alike.

    It takes practice and patience but this miniature submarine can be held at a specific depth depending how much air and water is in the ballast tank. The mixture of air and water is controlled by the 2 up and down buttons on the transmitter.

    It will dive to a depth of 0.5m and the radio has a range of 5m. Long run times of approx 35mins can be achieved for a charge time on only 30mins from a USB source.

    Excellent fun for all the family and perfect if you have a large freshwater fishtank or in the bath.. It is not recommended that the submarine is used in large bodies of water where the depth is unknown or in salt or contaminated water, it is recommended for indoor use only.

    Great while it worked, after a week the dive mechanism failed then not long after the charger caught fire. Not worth the risk/money.

    Hi there,

    I bought this a few days ago.
    And let it run for the first time in my 4 feet deep pool (1.2m).

    Its nearly impossible to control the depth level, because the boat sinks only if the tanks are completely flooded. Then the boat sinks quiet fast to the ground. If the boot lies on the ground or is below a feet or more under the surface, then the radio is not longer able to control the boat any more. The radio is too weak.

    After the first run I charged the battery of the submarine and wanted to try it a second time. But unfortunately the radio transmitter hat water inside the housing. So it is no way waterproof. So I opened up the transmitter and let it dry.

    Next day new luck I thought. But now the lights of the submarine were always turned on, even if I did not switched the boat on. There was water inside the boat.

    Final review.
    Nice Idea. Poor quality. Not worth the money. You better buy a more expensive one. This is cheap crap.

    Just got done playing in the kiddy pool with this little submarine. Kids all loved it and so did Daddy! ;) My 7 year old had no problem controlling this sub after showing her the controls. My 3 year old loved watching it go around in the water. Works surprising well and I highly recommend. Has good battery life, as well for long excursions. Perfect for kids pools in the back yard with a couple feet deep of water to dive around in.
