Worked great for the first 5 months, then a slight problem

When it's cool weather outside (below 65 F or 18 C) the camera is awesome. But when summer arrived here and the air temps got to 85 F or 30 C, the camera would stop after about 3 or 4 quick videos in the bright sunlight usually 20 second each. When this happens, I feel the chrome colored or aluminum heatsink and it almost burns to the touch. I let the camera rest in the shade and after 5 minutes, it works again but then stops again after a couple of quick videos. In the cool evening air, the camera works fine with no issues. This tells me that the overheat protection built into the camera works well. I think the heatsink is not well designed. There are ideas out there for DIY copper heatsinks to fix this issue. I may try it.

Entry level camera w good recording qualities

Arrived wrapped in a plastic bags, no instructions, appeared to be new, but seemed a open box or return item.
Battery life is not that good, or could be old lithium ion battery. I charge it and within a few days of not been used its drained completely. To learn how to use it you need to go online and watch videos, and make sense of one with the other to figure out how to reset, make your own adjustments, how to navigate through the buttons, what each color means.
In a nutshell
Orange - Mode 1
Blue - Mode 2
Red - pictures
M = Mode to navigate between the three formats
Does 1080 and 720, will flip 180 the recording, so Mode 1 can be level and Mode 2 flip depending how you will set it up, or have one mode at 1080 and the other at 720.
On picture mode it can be one click per press of the button, or have it to take pics at intervals set in the programming text file.
* The changes/settings are made in the computer, once in the field you are stuck with them, to make new ones, the Mobius needs to be connected to a computer and access the txt file and later burn it to the rom.
All the above I learned by watching videos, but after all that, my Mobius did not work, would record or take black pictures, I reset all and seemed exposure was bad and always go full black regardless of auto or preset setting of daylight, artificial light, etc.
I contacted HobbyKing and the only response after several "hey whats going on" emails, was to send it back for a refund.
Ended buying the same one at the local hobby shop, quality is acceptable for a camera of that price range, will take up to 32Gb to give you around 4hrs of recording time. The battery will last around an hour and a half, so with a external battery pack you can go past the hour and a half of video, will loop as well.

Excellent product, dependable, no problesm

Used it for several months with almost daily use with a class 10 SD card. One glitch occurred on a hot day because I had tape around the camera that the camera overheated. After removing the tape and letting the camera cool off, it worked as usual. I am happy with the image quality. I will buy this camera again if I need more.

After several months of use, I'm happy with the purchase. I make RC videos as a hobby and this camera so far meets my needs. The default settings give it a cooler tone that what I prefer so I'm glad all the adjustments are available in the configuration software. The video quality is really nice.

Superb camera, small lightweight fantastic For FPV. Clear high red HD video recorded on to the board SIM card. Dead simple to use, far superior quality than my action cam, less drag, less weight. Use it alongside my sony 700TVL cam & Video TX on a skywalker 1900, So impressed have bought another mounts easily on to most planes and foaming with Velcro and rubber bands.

Looks good, feels good and the image quality is superb. I have the SJ4000 camera and have been very impressed with that but it's too big to fit on some of my models. Looking forward to getting some good aerial footage from some of my smaller models with this.

With the mseup software you can easely configure the camera an if needed inslall the latest firmware.

Great camera. Video quality when tuned correctly definitely rivals the GoPro. The only problem I had is that I had to open up the case and focus the lens for fpv because the objects in the distance were a bit fuzzy. Focusing fixed that though. Superb performance for the money.

A must have camera, versatile for the hobby and much more (In fact I use for the day to day because it is easy to carry).
the c2 lens make it more clear and wide imagen, so it is the natural update for the camera.
