1m Motor Launch (Boat)

Nov 14, 2007

Hi, I have installed this is a Sea Commanda (AeroKit). 1m long weighing 3Kg. On 3 cells it pulls 12amps and on 4 cells it pulls 22amps. Running 3 cells it stays cool and so do the cells. 4 cells warms it up, but not too hot. For a 3Kg boat it lifts it straight on the plane with 3 cells and flys on 4 cells. Prop size is 32.5mm with 1.2 pitch.

Outstanding, with go nitro?

MT Dragon W35C2 1290Kv

I purchased this motor for my Fliton Rogue 3-D and the MT Dragon W35C3 980Kv the new Fliton Extra 260 mini. First off the motors are a mere 1 ounce heavier than the recommended hacker A30-16M, but had similar performance specs. With an APC 11x47 SF the Rogue has excellent vertical performance. It will hover at about throttle with Hexitroniks 1700 mah 3 cell lipo. So far the performance is everything I expected and the plane only weighs 1 ounce more than the review tested weight.

For excellent torque, I must say this motor absolutely performs. It comes with pre-soldered 3.5mm bullet connectors (which is what I usually use anyway) and the prop adapter is made thicker and stronger then its smaller 20-20L counterpart. For the money, I certainly recommend this motor for those looking for a larger motor than the 20-20L flying 3-D models weighing up to 32 ounces. I must admit the weight scared me at first, but after the first flight, Im convinced this motor will not disappoint.
