An extremely well made and innovative retractable landing gear set that utilises linear actuators, they are suitable for multi-rotors up to 4.5kg in weight and with 16mm mounting tubes. When operating the linear actuators make the retract mechanism very smooth and slow, they look great and there is no slop anywhere, either in the down position or when retracted, really good quality gear.
The set comes with a control unit which the 2 retract units plug into, this also has the JR style plug lead which then plugs into the retract channel of your receiver. The retracts run on a separate power supply of 7.4~26V, a JST BEC type plug is fitted to the control box for power input but this can be changed as necessary.
The main part of the retract unit is CNC machined from high quality aluminum, the linear actuator housing is glass filled nylon and the legs and skids are high quality carbon. The other parts are mostly CNC metal parts making these retracts extremely strong and durable. The skids are fitted with plastic end caps and anti-skid shock absorbing foam sleeves.
