The Turnigy MultiStar outrunners are designed with one thing in mind - maximizing Multi-rotor performance! These motors are engineered specifically for multi-rotor use and are not based on airplane motors and the workmanship and detail stands up to the closest scrutiny.
This motor set features one pair of motors, one with reverse threaded shafts (CCW) and one with standard threaded shafts (CW). This allows them to be compatible with self-tightening props such as those used on the DJI Phantom 2, and two sets are included. This makes for very convenient removal and installation of your props by hand, no tools required! Besides the 2 sets of self- tightening 9x4.3 Props, some CW/CCW Shaft nuts are included for stander propeller use as well. Also some extra wire length was added for those frames with inboard ESC mounting.

I previously knocked off a few points because I thought one of four motors was bad, but after extensive testing it turns out the eMax 4-in-1 ESC was bad. I've changed out all ESCs and these motors run great! The only downside is that they will only work with 2S and 3S batteries. This would be a really great motor if it could handle 4S batteries. Still, really good motors.I ordered two sets to make a full quadcopter. I really like the long leads on these. I was able to put a 4-in-1 ESC package inside the frame and run all the motor leads into the body; makes for a very clean build. But similar to another reviewer, one of the motors was bad. Sounds like a bad bearing, as the motor rattles loudly and spins jerkily when I try to rev up. Another motor had a stray wire filament sticking out, which I fortunately noticed before firing up. Just not good quality. I had to order another pair of motors just to have one complete set of four motors. I don't recommend these motors.well tested the motors I'm kinda happy 3 of 4 still works after 7 hours of use.
