Looking for a tried and tested power system for your next Multi-rotor project? Look no further!
The Turnigy MultiStar outrunners are designed with one thing in mind - maximizing Multi-rotor performance! They feature high quality bearings, high pole counts for less noise, smooth responsive power and increased efficiency. They have custom motor mounting and all are precision balanced for smooth running. These motors are engineered specifically for multi-rotor use and are not based on airplane motors and the workmanship and detail stands up to the closest scrutiny.
This motor set features one pair of motors, one with reverse threaded shafts (CCW) and one with standard threaded shafts (CW). This allows them to be compatible with self-tightening props such as those used on the DJI Phantom 2, and two sets are included. This makes for very convenient removal and installation of your props by hand, no tools required! Besides the 2 sets of self- tightening 9x4.3 Props, some CW/CCW Shaft nuts are included for stander propeller use as well. Also some extra wire length was added for those frames with inboard ESC mounting.
MultiStar is simplifying the world of Multi-Rotors with their purpose built product line and taking the guess work out of your setup.

I ordered two sets to make a full quadcopter. I really like the long leads on these. I was able to put a 4-in-1 ESC package inside the frame and run all the motor leads into the body; makes for a very clean build. But similar to another reviewer, one of the motors was bad. Sounds like a bad bearing, as the motor rattles loudly and spins jerkily when I try to rev up. Another motor had a stray wire filament sticking out, which I fortunately noticed before firing up. Just not good quality. I had to order another pair of motors just to have one complete set of four motors. I don't recommend these motors.well tested the motors I'm kinda happy 3 of 4 still works after 7 hours of use. One motor failed i opened up and the wire coil was broke sadly its not worth repairing or recoiling :) still for the price i cant complainWell motors are ok. but the bearings are terrible all motors have glitchy sound and one of them is lose ordered few bearings 3x8x4 hope they fit :)great motors and will take a beating togreat motors and will take a beating togreat motors and will take a beating togreat motors and will take a beating togreat motors and will take a beating togreat motors and will take a beating toWell, purchased 3 sets, one of the motors does have a defect right out of the box ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehAp6E4EStY ,maybe a bearing?).
The propellers are also way off, at least the "non -R" ones, there must be a defect either with the machine pressing in the hubscrews or with the diecast form used for the propellers, as with all of the "non-R" (silver coloured hub) props without any exception the same side, marked with the "lock" direction is the heavier one.
