    The new Easy combo from MultiStar and Afro, matching the more popular combinations into one easy package.

    This combo is perfect for 400~600mm quads, and works great on 4s or 3s power. The 2216 has the extra power over the common 2212 increasing its efficiency with loads, such as when using a gimbal. The 800KV is perfect on 3s with an 11~10inch prop or a 9~10 prop on 4s. The matched 20A high speed Afro esc is pre-wired with matching bullet connectors, plug and play made easy.

    The Afro ESC boasts high efficiency, all N-channel MOSFET design, jitter-free hardware PWM input and smooth power response, the Afro ESC series are set to change the expectations of multirotor pilots around the globe. The Afro ESC series are shipped with multi-rotor specific SimonK software preloaded, no need to reflash. For added convenience the Turnigy USB linker can be used via the PWM signal lead for any future software updates eliminating the need for complicated flashing jigs or the need to cut open the heat shrink.

    The Turnigy MultiStar outrunners are designed with one thing in mind - maximizing multirotor performance! The 2216 V2 feature high-end magnets, high quality bearings and all are precision balanced for smooth running and now have replaceable CW/CCW prop adapters that support both direct bolt and hub style props.

    MultiStar is simplifying the world of multirotors with their purpose built product line and taking the guess work out of your setup.

    Good motor. Could have a little more punch, but really stable. Use them for several builds. Have only used on 3S setups, moving to 4S soon, will give update then.

    Powerful set, working great and with no problems on a quad weighing 2300 grams, 11 inch 4,7 props, with 4s 10000 lipo. flighttimes of 17 minutes.

    Use this combo in my tricopter with 1045 props and 4s battery. Smooth and strong motors. The bearings could be better on one of the motors. Nor the motors or esc gets hot.
    Plan you use the same combo in my next project.

    Lately I received the 'Multi-star & Afro Combo Pack - 2216-800KV and Matched 20A Afro ESC Set of 4 CW/CCW.The packing was good and it came to me early than I thought.The motors looks good and the ESC's components are transparent.The motor fits tightly to the frame and it does not have any problems as far as now.The bullet heads are very tight.If you are searching for an overall good branded product,Hobbyking will give you the best combo.

    I have an eBay 450 with flysky. These motors and esc's have enabled me to run a cnc 2 axis with sjcam and 4s 5500mah on 10x4.5 props. On apm 2.6 and kk 2.1.5 settings I use, the filming is beyond fantastic for a beginner. For being a novice on all this I really couldn't recommend better on a f450 or x525 frame. My experience has been fantastic with these. I'd highly recommend.

    Advertises high quality bearings however one motor has clearly bad bearings and makes noise rotating by hand even as well as being tougher to turn.
    The rest seems fine but I think I will have to replace the bearings which is annoying.

    Habe mir dieses Set gekauft und ich mu sagen das die Afro Regler richtig gut sind.

    Die 2216 Motoren sind nach 1,5 Flugstunden Schrott. Ich habe insgesamt 6 Motoren, davon sind nach ein paar Runden (ca. 1,5 h) von 3 Motoren so die Lager defekt , das ich nicht mal mehr fliegen kann.
    Nun habe ich mir 4 Stck T-Motoren bestellt, gut ist eben teuer......

    Would have went five stars but had to reprogram the esc. to get full throttle response. When the weather changes I'll let you know how they work... The quad hovers nicely but don't tell the wife flying in the house is prohibited...lol.
